I Beat Skolas!
I know a ton of people have done it already, but I'm so happy when I saw him fall. The feeling that I got when I dropped him for the first time was so amazing!
[spoiler]I used the original no burn strategy:
1. Destroy servitor on left and shoot Skolas with rockets.
2. Destroy servitor in right and fire more rockets at Skolas (repeat step 1 and 2 until bonds break)
3. Use primaries and secondaries only to clear out adds
4. Shoot Skolas with primaries and secondaries until first round of mines.
5. Dismantle mines
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 (make sure you have used a heavy synth or picked up 7 rocket shells by now)
7. Shoot Skolas with rockets as soon as the second round of mines start and kill him
8. Dismantle mines in peace
9. Claim rewards
10. Celebrate[/spoiler]

I did strat similar but when adds first come rotate to right and kill them then give Skolas all you've got until adds or mines come. I used Sun singer Fatebringer LDR Gjallarhorn(hardly even used it)

Was one of the best times I have had playing destiny in a long while. Was very excited. Really loved the challenge. But now that it's done just don't think it will be as much fun a second time.

Nice work, nothing like his wail of defeat. Props on The conduit also. I have one with 18 in the clip, Glass half full, Rodeo and Sureshot IS. It is a beast!!

1 ReplyThe Skolas fight is tough but not mega tough. I would compare it to Atheon hard. What's hard is the six rounds altogether. I have a lot of trouble with round 3 as a warlock, if my team doesn't have a hunter who knows what to do.
