7 RepliesI must be a scrub then. All that's left for me in destiny is helping people, and if they want a flawless in trials, so be it. Just cause others have something doesn't make yours worthless. Christ, can't people have fun and just enjoy the view?

I haven't gone flawless yet but I completely agree. Trials is nothing more than a money making machine for streamers.

Ehh. The flawless emblem is losing more of its snowflakeyness (yes i made a word up) due to the cheap tactics people use anyways.

3 RepliesIt's called being nice, its actually quite a good feeling. I like helping people get the gear and even flawless when I can. I plan to help as many people as I can get the loot, and if anyone is on ps4 send me a friend request and I'll do my best to help.

I don't carry people I play with my friends, sure they might not do as good as me or others or they might do better than me at times but still it's not carrying it's a team effort

I agree but I am pathetic at trials and wouldn't say no if someone offered to carry me through. That being said I won't be trying to find someone to carry me through so maybe I have a tiny bit of integrity.

I totally agree with OP here, even though I understand the helping people and everything. In the end are you really helping? You're rewarding someone for being bad essentially, is carrying them through something helping their game improve? No. They will forever remain where they're at and be filled with a negative attitude of "well I don't need to improve, I've got ppl who will get me the gear". And to players who aren't bad but don't have a chance to play due to lack of not fitting outrageous requirements set by others, I find this unfair. Not in the sense though that they are accessing something they shouldn't, but because of how they got there. The lighthouse was meant to be for the PvP elite, at least that's what all the arguments seem to portray here on the forums. Yet I constantly run into players with stuff from the lighthouse that I swear don't even know how to play control. It's ridiculous.
