Raids do nothing for leveling.

Complete a nightfall first and have a flaming blue head to get XP bonuses on all XP earned (even from bounties). Use the gun, complete lots of bounties, have the gun equipped when you turn in the bounties. Pop an appropriate weapon telemetry before turning in those bounties while having the weapon equipped. Run a fast daily afterwards to get some more XP before the telemetry runs out (30 min). Throw the weapon into the vault and transfer to another character - rinse and repeat. Using the above method I was able to fully level up G-horn in one day.

1 ReplyMake sure you have done nightfall for max xp. Then do as many bounties as possible. Also try to do public events. Make sure the weapons you want to upgrade on on before you cash in any bounties, etc.

Other. Do weekly NF, Complete bounties. Consume telemetry for that gun type, turn in bounties. You'll gave 28 min left on telemetry. Speed run heroic, than daily, than Roc. Grab more bounties, complete, burn another telemetry, turn in bounties... Gun leveled in less than a day.

5 RepliesBounties. Using the actually gun to level it up goes by very slowly, slower than leveling an exotic [i]with bounties[/i]. Always go with bounties.

Lol who said raids. Last I heard, you don't unlock any XP in raids, you grind to max gear to [b]take[/b] into a raid.
