Is there someone at your place of Employment that you can talk about Destiny with?
I work at an Asphalt and Cutback Plant and the only person I can talk Destiny with is a 54 year old Trucker that comes in now and then.
Excited to hear what fellow Guardians have to say.
Edit: Got off Work at 6:30cst and we were at a little over 60 replies. I wake up and we're close to 200. :D
Edit: I find it Cool that so many White Collar works actually play. Keep the stories coming.

21 RepliesNo one I can talk to at work. Apparently a 45 year old man is not supposed to play video games. I have to grow old but I don't have to grow up.
-
Analytical shift chemist in a steel mill, loads of oldies play it as well as some of the younger apprentices.
-
I work in fashion industry for a large multinational. No one here even games let alone plays Destiny. Bunch of dickheads haha.

Edited by Chid Kid 209: 3/26/2015 11:43:44 PMAre you kidding? Every single marine plays all the video games, there's two xbox ones in my room with two people living in here

I'm a musician and none of my bandmates even play video games...at all.
-
I'm a machinist and no one plays at my shop. It's a bummer.

I worked at a beer distributor and literally all of us played Destiny

13 RepliesNo. I work at an Elementary School so it's all lonely women that what to show me pictures of their cats.
-
Very few people my age at work, and none play that I know of... I'm more of a work at work kind of guy. I have met awesome people through the forum, all my raiding is random.
-
I have no one in the real world to talk to about destiny. I would get laughed at at work for even mentioning video games. I do have a few friends that game but not destiny.
-
Nope. I'm an economist at a state energy agency...

3 RepliesEdited by cuzzybubba1: 3/26/2015 6:58:04 PMNope, work at a College and nobody plays Destiny that I know but tons of lonely women looking to cheat on their husbands.

I drive semi and everyone I work with is "too old" to play video games. Except one of my transportation supervisors, but me and him don't see eye to eye on pretty much anything. so I don't bother trying to talk destiny with him. I'm also the only person I know irl that has an xbox one and the only one with destiny. so my entire destiny life is filled with strangers and trying to explain random things I get excited about to my wife who doesn't care about video games at all. But I have met a lot of people online that I play with on a regular basis now.

Company i work with sent me to their mainoffice a wile ago and during lunch a guy saw me with the destiny app and turns out alot of them were playing small world eh.
-
No. Nobody. It's crap.

5 RepliesPlay @ work.. lol.. all the time actually.. MWD Hand.. Alberta.. aka.. Movie Watching Dude..

9 RepliesI work in a professional office. No one plays destiny. Yet I insist on droning on and informing them of my progress through the game. Everyone is well aware of what a Nightfall is, and they received morning updates of my successes and failures during Iron Banner. If I have to hear about people's kids and sports games, they gotta hear about my raids.

Yeah, luckily there is 4 guys at work that play, 2 on xbone, 2 on PS4
-
Yea both my employees are gamers. And hate destiny lol

Edited by RandallPhoto: 3/26/2015 10:14:31 PMI'm the supervisor of a call center and currently 4 of my 12 analysts play so it's pretty much discussed all day every day and we have some group chat going that's only for destiny players here :P. Also, on holiday or "Shut down" days, I will typically bring in my xbox to play during work :P Sadly, everyone else is on PS4 and I'm on Xbox One. :(
-
4 of my co-workers. We make Destiny jokes all the time too, it's pretty silly actually #DatGlimmerGang

I work with a bunch of engineers but NONE OF THESE NERDS play games.

1 ReplyA friend of mine works at a local bicycle store. One day I went in there to buy a frizzbee for disc golf, as they sell those as well. As I was walking outside after making my purchase, I saw two kids checkout out the bikes that were on display out front. One of the little nerds said and I quote "Think they'd mind if we took their bikes". He even said it in the dainty ghost voice lol... I absolutely lost it.
