What's your VALID excuse for not buying Gjallahorn?
I see a lot of people complaining and they think Xur should sell it. The fact is he already sold it and you had your chance. However a few people do deserve to have it sold to them of they have a proper excuse.
Examples of INVALID excuses.
"I didn't know how good it was"
Ignorance will not hold up in a court of law. It's like saying I didn't know what the speed limit was while you do 80.
"I didn't have the strange coins then"
Laziness is also not an excuse. I didn't feel like grinding and getting the coins is akin to saying I didn't feel like stopping at that stop sign, good luck explaining that to a judge.
"I didn't have the game then (didn't have money"
When you have to pay your tickets in court not having funds will not excuse you from your financial duties. Get a job and pay them off.
An example of a VALID excuse would be..
"I was in the hospital that weekend for surgery"
If you have a doctor's note this would be a perfectly fine excuse.
So what's your excuse as to why you deserve a second chance?

Really don't remember maybe I didn't have enough coins yet ? I do remember thinking wtf do I want a exotic rocket launcher for ? I want exotic primary.. But hell I've dismantled 6 now since the game came out.. 3 Jelly's :)

Considering I was transitioning between jobs, buying a car, and paying off bills back then, don't you dare aliken that to a speeding ticket. Speeding tickets are something you HAVE to pay off or risk going to jail. I'm not going to jail for not buying Gally and I'm not going to consider myself on a timer to buy a game JUST so I can buy Gally before a certain timeframe, nonetheless considering that it's not known Xur would sell Gally before he did. Your "reasoning" of why such valid points are "invalid" is a bunch of crap. Unless you want to give me money the next time a game comes around that you're going to make some bullshit post belittling those that actually put real life and real finanaces over a dumb game and a dumb weapon, let me know. Otherwise, man up, stop justifying things in your head like a prick, and realize there is more than this game. Having Gally is not the end-all-be-all to where I have to sacrifice my real life obligations for.

1 ReplyWas still in 'explore and enjoy' mode in week two, not thinking about endgame gear. Didn't even know Xur existed at that point. Yep, I was a noob in week two, eat me. I've had two of them drop since, but I have friends who were in the same boat that haven't had the drop.
