What's your VALID excuse for not buying Gjallahorn?
I see a lot of people complaining and they think Xur should sell it. The fact is he already sold it and you had your chance. However a few people do deserve to have it sold to them of they have a proper excuse.
Examples of INVALID excuses.
"I didn't know how good it was"
Ignorance will not hold up in a court of law. It's like saying I didn't know what the speed limit was while you do 80.
"I didn't have the strange coins then"
Laziness is also not an excuse. I didn't feel like grinding and getting the coins is akin to saying I didn't feel like stopping at that stop sign, good luck explaining that to a judge.
"I didn't have the game then (didn't have money"
When you have to pay your tickets in court not having funds will not excuse you from your financial duties. Get a job and pay them off.
An example of a VALID excuse would be..
"I was in the hospital that weekend for surgery"
If you have a doctor's note this would be a perfectly fine excuse.
So what's your excuse as to why you deserve a second chance?

Because destiny should be compared to the law. This is stupid. Real life laws don't apply to not purchasing a video game at the right time you absolute freaking walnut.

I already had one and felt getting to level 29 was more important then having a second one for my non-existent alt.

I was in a school trip. I moved to London and I was shy and the school had a one week trip. Now i have lots of friends. Is that good enough?

How is not having the game not a valid excuse? Hell, I didn't even want the game until November. I had plenty of money. Not saying I want Xur to sell it, as I really don't care, but I didn't buy it when he sold it because I didn't even know what Xur was at the time. Or any element of destiny for that matter...

Mine is stupidity, I didn't buy it because I thought the lion looked cheesy and wanted to save my coins. Smh everyday. [spoiler]I have 2 maxed now either way it's no big deal played since day 1 and survived until January without one and now it sits in my vault unless we raid[/spoiler]

1 ReplyI bought mine first time around. (Greatest purchase I've made) but I was lucky, I got an exotic helm the day before. If I didn't have a helmet, I would have bought the helmet because at the time light level was much more important than any weapon. I do hope he sells it again though simply because I'm sick of carrying people through raids. It'll make everybodys life easier

I pre ordered a hard copy of the game so it would arrive day of release, had trouble with shipping. Didn't get started until about a week and a half after release

I didn't have a monitor to play my xbox one on. Had the game midnight launch, had to wait 2 weeks to play. Doesn't matter though, because I have 2 of them now. Got one to drop in November as well, so it's not like I went long without one.
