What's your VALID excuse for not buying Gjallahorn?
I see a lot of people complaining and they think Xur should sell it. The fact is he already sold it and you had your chance. However a few people do deserve to have it sold to them of they have a proper excuse.
Examples of INVALID excuses.
"I didn't know how good it was"
Ignorance will not hold up in a court of law. It's like saying I didn't know what the speed limit was while you do 80.
"I didn't have the strange coins then"
Laziness is also not an excuse. I didn't feel like grinding and getting the coins is akin to saying I didn't feel like stopping at that stop sign, good luck explaining that to a judge.
"I didn't have the game then (didn't have money"
When you have to pay your tickets in court not having funds will not excuse you from your financial duties. Get a job and pay them off.
An example of a VALID excuse would be..
"I was in the hospital that weekend for surgery"
If you have a doctor's note this would be a perfectly fine excuse.
So what's your excuse as to why you deserve a second chance?

Because this isn't the court of law, I don't need a valid reason to not buy it. Second chance to pick it up would be phenomenal, because life is full of them.

I didn't know what strange coins (or Xur for that matter) were at that point in the game. Heck, I still didn't have the coins for Ice Breaker week 5. Now I have tons of coins and want another chance to buy it.

At the time, my logic was "who would waste an exotic slot on a heavy weapon?", and I hung on to my coins anticipating better gear in the future... Would like to land a ghally for the situations its nice to have, and do use SGA for oracles when it comes to exotic heavies. Ignorance was bliss, wish I snagged that ugly boomer.

I had the coins, but i had a legendary tracking cluster void launcher, so was like, eh, why get an exotic lancher... Also, talked my pal out of due to "Eh, heavy means you use it sparringly, a exotic primary is waaaaay better haha. "

strange coins were too valuable. i didn't think it was worth spending since an exotic rocket launcher wasn't worth it. bought a helmet engram instead.. even though i have two gjallarhorns, i still regret not buying it

I didn't know how good it was but bought it and vaulted it for a month or so 2 more have dropped since.

I didn't buy it because I wasn't there at the time. I think I started playing like a week or so after that. Got my beauty from an engram anyways, so I'm golden. I also hope Xur sells it so I can make popcorn and watch the forums.
