Nah. Even some one who doesnt put in money into warframe can get ahead just as fast. Only took me a few days to get to MR 8. It's fun. Plat doesnt give you leverage over other players. It doesnt make you better. And it certanly doesn't give you an advantage in game. Warframe is Free to Play. The way ninjas play free.

You're not winning anything is the point. Also yes you can pay for that but the only thing you can get that we can't is cosmetics, and we can get that for free. If we get plat as a log in reward than you can buy a cosmetic. You can pay for stuff if you don't wish to wait but it doesn't make you win. We can get plat for free while you pay and still be in the same league or even higher die to the fact you won't have mod cards we would still excell.

If by spending $200 on Platinum, I have the ability to trade said platinum to another player in-game. That, is, and will always be the very definition of pay-to-win. Cosmetics aside, you're clearly missing the point.

No its not. Paying to win is to buy things to gain an advantage over other players. Look at planetside. It's a cluster of PTW players picking on the free players they call scrubs.

It's still not pay to win you have to get it from someone, that someone gets pay and they can get stuff to. It's not pay to win it's a economy that go's around you can pay if you want but it doesn't make you excell. You're missing the point.
