I carried the sword as a Titan
Finally beat crota as a sword carrier with my titan on hard. Even had the sword glitch and dissappear on 2nd run.
I decided to carry the sword after seeing so many posts saying I need sworbearer must be a hunter. Would of taken ages to find one.
I had good teamates some were randoms from the forum my friend was a lvl 30. This felt far better than blink striking crota with my hunter. Felt more rewarding in some sense.
Just a message really to say you dont need a Hunter to run sword.

1 ReplyWelcome to the club :). Titans and warlocks are just as capable of running the sword as a hunter. That being said hunter invisibility makes it much, much easier.

2 RepliesLol people think hunters are the only ones that hold swords...? Ive killed crota 7 times on hard perfectly. And 32 times on normal And get this... On a warlock... Hmmm.. Get off your high horse huntards and get up on the ledge and shoot that husk of guardian armor that you get carried with. +1 for titans and warlock swordbearers!

1 Replyyou can run sword with any class - been on a random team that ran it with a warlock and got it on the 2nd try. I've run it myself as a titan - cheers!

5 RepliesMy clan and I did this a while back. The hunters (myself included) took a backseat and had one of our titan friends run the sword. Granted this sword bearer is really talented, it went so smoothly we rarely go back. http://youtu.be/cCCYo9ZP5Zc

1 ReplyGrats. I beat it hard crota as a warlock swordbearer for the first time last night, have done it on my titan and obviously my hunter. Hunter is the easiest of course, titan probably 2nd and warlock 3rd. It's alot more fun on the titan and warlock.

1 ReplyGg man. I run it with my Titan and Warlock all the time. People just say Hunters are better because it's [b]safer[/b] to go invisible than to have to jump back and forth with Titan and Warlock. Keep up the good work.

All three classes have raid gear that give them the same agility boost while carrying a sword... EDIT: [i]I[/i] have never been able to cancel a jump with my Titan or Warlock while handling the sword.

My mate runs on both his hunter and titan he's a beast with the sword.

1 ReplyI didn't even consider using invisible abilities crota until week 2 of hard mode. Ran sword on all 3 different characters without it just fine. 3 swords, 2 downs each = kill. It's not harder, in fact the jump on the Titan is my favorite.

1 ReplyI've done it with hunter, lock and titan. It's fine if you can time it with your team. I think hunters are wanted more because random teams don't always have the best rocket timing so it's easier if a hunter is already up there waiting for crota to kneel.
