Am I the only one that gets beyond pissed off when someone tells me that I listen to devil worshippers and that no one can understand what they are saying because it's all just "screaming"? It's absolutely ridiculous how ignorant some people can be. I was driving with my drivers Ed teacher yesterday and I heard Metallica come on. So I go, "hey this is my jam right here!" And what my teacher does is completely shut off the radio and tell me that that was satan's cabinet music. This royally annoyed me. I do understand that there may be a band out there of the metal genre that might worship the devil, but I don't know. Although I listen to Pantera, Slipknot, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, etc., I do not for one second believe that any of them influence worshipping the devil. Comment down below your opinion on people like that.

1 ReplyDude rock on! Devil worshipping or not; it's still badass! I rock hard in the pit with my friends and make new friends, relieves so much stress. But still you have to respect other people's opinion, like when I play with people that like thug music and blast when playing in a party- that's a no no. Nor will I blast my metal lol. There's a time and place for everything. What's funnier is most of these bands are Christian bands lol.

1 ReplyI got into Dimmu Borgir from hearing a couple of their songs in the first Hellboy movie trailer. Anyone can listen to metal, it's not a certain type. Sure, some of it's pretty weird, and I'll switch it off if it starts actually talking about eating puppies or something, but overall it's not as bad as people make out.

1 ReplyWhere I come from we call them "Baggers", or another word I cannot use on here from fear that they will rise up

I find it funny. There's a lot of hardcore bands that are christian and/or straight edge. Lots of positive stuff Guy is literally yelling jesus lyrics or about how drugs -blam!- your life and people call it devil music. Lol

4 RepliesEasy solution :
Just don't give a -blam- and keep rocking on.
