One would hope most of the time they just don't realise, but the anonymity of the internet gives people a God like complex where they can't be touched or they think they'll get away with everything. Invite some of the more hurtful ones to play alongside your son or better still meet him. Don't rise to the pig headed idiots on this forum some just don't care and will eat away at you. Take care.

Sucks man, but the Internet is not a places for kids. To be honest everyone talks Shit there is the 1% that won't but everyone does. But yeah If I had kids they wouldn't be on the Internet but then again I would make sure to check out the places he goes to. Sorry ur kid is getting trolled but Noone on the Internet knows if the person on the other side is "normal" or has any kind of "special needs" or "handicap", if we all did I'm sure some would have a little bit more respect, then again some would still be "dicks"
