deathsingers loot drop/ crota drop - exotics
Has anybody else noticed a hell of a lot of exotics dropping from the raid this week? I ran it twice earlier today and the first game saw: Red Death, Gjallahorn and no land beyond drop at the deathsingers.
Then the second game saw: hard light from deathsingers then icebreaker from crota.(that was my drop, been after icebreaker since day one! I was on holiday when Xur sold it).
In addition to this we also had 2-3 raid helmets drop from crota each run and many weapons. I'm pretty sure nobody was left with shards/energy, everybody got something! Anyway, since the dark below released I have only ever seen two exotics drop from crota out of around 10 runs.
Has this happened to you guys or do you think my group just got lucky? And if it is happening to a lot of people do you think that they have increased the drop rate? I wouldn't imagine they have but I found it weird and unlike destinys loot system to have games like these lol.
Edit: I don't know how I didn't mention this but on my first run, when we hit crota and we're playing through it we were up the left and I was sniping Knights when all of a sudden my view is blocked by... A lvl32 gatekeeper just walking about by the stairs/entrance on left side. He was immune and wouldn't take any damage, and someone died and he disappeared. Edit 2: ran for the third time now, the results were: lots of gear, only one person per checkpoint got just shards. Deathsinger: red death and Dragons breath. Crota: 4 helmets, 6 raid weapons, suros and dragons breath. My drops were: gauntlets, shards, energies, Titan helmet, swordbreaker, shards and dragonsbreath.
That's 3 out of 3, and spaced over two days!

3 RepliesNo exotics dropped on the first 2 runs and on the third 4/6 got exotics on deathsinger, I was one of the other 2 :(... O well there's always next week :)

7 RepliesMost people are missing the point. You may be grumpy because you didn't get 15 exotics this week, but as a whole raid team the exotic drop rate seems dramatically increased. Nearly every raid group gets at least 1 exotic, with 2-3 more likely. No other activity in Destiny has that good of a chance at exotics.

4 RepliesClanmate got the YOLOhorn from Ir Yut, Dragon's Breath from Crota. In a second run Truth dropped from Ir Yut. Did not get to see Crota's second drop because Banjo errors plagued us. What did I get? Shards, as usual.

2 RepliesJust did two runs and I didn't get any exotics. I know one person got Thunderlord from Crota, and I think somebody else got Plan C from the Deathsinger. I believe another Plan C dropped somewhere else. I'm just pissed that I have received shit for loot drops in the pats five weeks.

4 RepliesI got no land beyond and dragons breath from her so far with my third alt to go still.. Also I got the helm for my warlock from crota and I have every weapon from the raid "so far" and all armour pieces so I guess either iv for very lucky or the drop rates in this raid are maybe more easier because back when vog and we all wanted 30 I thought it was so much harder! It took me months to get my helm from atheon hard :)

4 RepliesYa the raid is dropping exotics very often. I ran 2 raids and received 3 exotic weapons myself, while there were another 7 exotics handed out to others.
