deathsingers loot drop/ crota drop - exotics
Has anybody else noticed a hell of a lot of exotics dropping from the raid this week? I ran it twice earlier today and the first game saw: Red Death, Gjallahorn and no land beyond drop at the deathsingers.
Then the second game saw: hard light from deathsingers then icebreaker from crota.(that was my drop, been after icebreaker since day one! I was on holiday when Xur sold it).
In addition to this we also had 2-3 raid helmets drop from crota each run and many weapons. I'm pretty sure nobody was left with shards/energy, everybody got something! Anyway, since the dark below released I have only ever seen two exotics drop from crota out of around 10 runs.
Has this happened to you guys or do you think my group just got lucky? And if it is happening to a lot of people do you think that they have increased the drop rate? I wouldn't imagine they have but I found it weird and unlike destinys loot system to have games like these lol.
Edit: I don't know how I didn't mention this but on my first run, when we hit crota and we're playing through it we were up the left and I was sniping Knights when all of a sudden my view is blocked by... A lvl32 gatekeeper just walking about by the stairs/entrance on left side. He was immune and wouldn't take any damage, and someone died and he disappeared. Edit 2: ran for the third time now, the results were: lots of gear, only one person per checkpoint got just shards. Deathsinger: red death and Dragons breath. Crota: 4 helmets, 6 raid weapons, suros and dragons breath. My drops were: gauntlets, shards, energies, Titan helmet, swordbreaker, shards and dragonsbreath.
That's 3 out of 3, and spaced over two days!

3 deathsingers this week = 6 shards. One crota kill, 2 energy. I have no motivation left to do the others tbh

Singer dropped 3 the first round and the second, none on the third. Crota didn't drop any exotics until the 3 run. *Edit* think maybe Croat dropped two exotics on second run, got universal remote from him and tried using it in the theirs raid, didn't have any coffee so it is foggy* Exotics dropped include: Plan C (my 7th, I hate that gun now) Universal Remote (my first, sad face, it is underwhelming) Gallyhorn (someone's third) No Land Beyond Don't remember the rest. All an all, in about 2 hours our group had 11 drops and think everyone received at least one. Not bad at all.

3 RepliesI got no land beyond from the witch and Crota on the same character. Can't say I'm excited I've been plagued with that gun already got 3 from Crota now one from death singer and one from nightfall. Safe to say it's a free shard every time I get another one.

1 ReplyMy group had 3 exotics drop from Deathsinger. I got Gjallarhorn. Then I got 4th Horseman from Crota and that was the only Crota exotic drop.

2 RepliesI got 3 exotic launchers from the raid and 2 exotic weapons from nightfall and an exotic Warlock chest piece as well and I also got plan c so I guess for some yesterday was like exotic day. Overall I got 9 exotics and HoC which I had yet to get. My Warlock was able to get those Raid boots I needed. Its about damn time RNG works in my favor it hasn't been since September

1 ReplyRan the raid 3 times yesterday with a group of 6 once and group of 5 twice. No one got exotics from wizards and one guy got no land beyond from crota on the first and second run.

3 Repliesyou must have got our drops. my groups did it twice, no exotics. 1-2 raid weapons total. I did the raid thru to the deathsingers 3 times and crota twice and I got 4 energy and shards... lots of shards. and I think 2 armor drops I can dismantle. my hunter will be 32 before the end of the week though. just need to get his armor exp.

Only 2 were exotics that people didn't have though. My hope is that you delete this thread and we never speak of this again. However...we had 2 people that also got nothing but shards all three runs so take that for what it is worth. Mida Multi Tool (Me, duplicate) Hard Light (Me, new!) Ghorn (Me, 5th in 5 weeks :( ) Dragon's Breath (Duplicate) P&T (Duplicate) 4th Horseman (New) Thunderlord (Duplicate) ...Can't remember the last one.

1 ReplyYou either got lucky or my team got really unlucky. We didn't kill crota, ppl had to leave, but only three pieces of gear dropped for the whole team. I personally ended up with less than ten materials and no gear or weapons. -I have most of what I want so didn't bother me too much, but a lot of my team needs the gear/weps so kind disappointing. -Maybe we'll all get an exotic when finish later this week...ha
