The PVP and PVE are total disasters right now.
Mid game weapons (blue) outgun end game weapons (legendaries and exotics).
Rumble is dominated by Hunter supers.
Rumble and Skirmish are entirely dominated by two weapon types, shotguns and fusion rifles (both one hit weapons)
Control is entirely dominated by Titans with unstoppable on.
Control is dominated by Suros Regime.
They have now nerfed already shit exotics and made them more shit.
I can't go into a rumble game now without the entire match being a series of fusion rifle charges, shotgun blasts and Hunters using blink with a shotgun.
This PVP has MASSIVE balancing issues.
Scaling the weapons was the worst ides ever, a shitty level 16 Shingen rare should not be able to outgun a level 20 legendary or exotic AR.
A shitty Suros MKB blue shouldn't be able to outgun practically every other shotgun, rare or exotic, bar Found Verdict and Invective (which has now been nerfed).
The Mythoclast makes a few people cry, nerfed within a week.
Thorn, Bad Juju and a couple other exotics suck ass and months later they're not even fixed, but actually nerfed even worse!
Day before the iron banner the game is thrown completely out of balance.

I'm a long time Bungie fan, I loved this game when it first came out, but each update you consistently make it worse.
You patch a cheese in the raid, but you don't fix enemies that magically regenerate health?
I'm fine with a cheese fix, but if you can fix that you should be fixing other bugs too!
Now you're nerfing the solo spots for Nightfall strikes, but you aren't implementing any sort of matchmaking?
Whay in the name of God are you guys doing?
You're better than this, you've made some excellent games in the past, this game was actually great when it came out.
How are you managing to make it worse?!
You need to either fire some people, or prioritize the issues that are making the game not fun to play, like the ridiculous balancing issues or the dumb regenerating health of certain enemies.
Then don't even get me started on the awful RNG.
Can run a raid and get energy every single drop, but can't get a pair of boots for my Warlock or gloves for my Titan?
I can get a Mythoclast, but can't get a hard light?
I can get 4 Timebreakers, 3 Aspects of Glass, 3 Warlock Vex Helmets, a Titan Vex helmet, but I can't get a different shader like God of War or something?
This game has some SERIOUS issues right now and they need to be fixed badly.
If this keeps going the way it's going, I'm just going to stop playing the game and move on to a different game.
I've put over 400 hours into this game so far.
I have a level 28 Hunter, a 29 Titan and a 29 Warlock.
I am so frustrated and disappointed with this game right now.
I appreciate the effort put into the update and the new features, including fixing that damn issue where every time I swapped weapons to a different character I had the new upgrades sign appear, but you really need to start prioritizing what you work on, please.
You're driving away the community, this game is turning into noob central on PVP.
Don't let Destiny be the fall of such a great developing team.

1 ReplyMan you guys complain about not buffing one gun and nerfing another. You have to fix what's broken and then evaluate the balance. Suros is only overpowered if your gear is weak. If your gear is weak play and gear up. Don't try and pull people down to your level just aim high.

What you're proposing is that the Crucible should just be the Iron Banner ans the only way to compete would require you to be Level 30 with a Mythoclast/Regime/Last Word/etc. The scaling is there so you don't have to have exotic weapons to be able to keep up. Cry as you may ably RNG loot, but it's ultimately fair to all players because everyone has the exact same odds of getting a particular item. Also, quit bumping your own thread and perpetuating this circlejerk.

4 RepliesI LOVE that exotics do not outpace rares or legendaries in PvP, other than with weapon abilities. Plus a lot of your data seems just wrong. Titan's don't dominate control. I will agree that not every class or ability is equal, though. And Shotguns do rule (AND rocket launchers). However, that's because in almost any PvP game I know of, it is a lot easier to run up and blast someone in the face before they kill you with their long range weapon. If the doll of your character nearly fills my screen, I am not going to miss, so give me the big damage weapon. After that, come the autofires., and last come the sniper rifles. Truth is long range maps of people picking each other off if they pop their heads up has been proven to be mega boring over time. So close range, twitch reaction battles are what PvP has mostly become about these days.

7 RepliesItem class levels do not matter in pvp, some rares are good, you arent understanding how the gae works really, legendaries and exotics arent meant every gun under their class , in pvp, the weapon ranking system is more for the pve.

7 RepliesJust get a new game. Destiny lost it's *by default* advantage, we have a good selection of games to go to now. I recommend ACU if you're into the series. I might get GTA5 to play with friends. Even if they fixed everything you stated above, what drove me out was the fact that I had to use a weapon in order to level it up. I have to dedicate time to every single weapon in my arsenal in order to make it good and I don't have time for that, I don't see that as "fun". A weapon is a tool, what they should have done is given the Character abilities as he used the weapon not embed them into it... This game made me fall asleep more than any other game, it's actually better than Ambien.

3 RepliesI swore your thread was commenting on the recent update's introduction of lag. I don't know what they did but I'm having serious frame rate lag for the first time in destiny. Major let-down. As for your complaints in PvP, I'll only agree with the SUROS' relentless supremacy. Complaining about one-shot deaths and kills for close range weapons is unwarranted. Granted, some fusion rifles have mid-long range prowess but fusions, such as the Wizard 77, with great range, have major charge-time repercussions. I mainly use the raid scout and shotgun. Bungie's update finally gave scouts some strength. Also, keep in mind that Skirmish & Salvage game modes utilize smaller maps due to the compacted teams. Expect close range guns... I too have a 29 warlock that I cannot get boots for lol despite doing the raid on hard several times through.

No weapon scaling = people complain how they don't have time or whatever the excuse is to max out a gun. And is constantly dying to people with maxed guns. Either way people will always find waysto complain about anything and everything.
