To all people farming the Earth Hive Spot
Please stop being rude. Let me clarify something so we can all enjoy this spot while it is still available.
1. Back up. If you are standing next to the rocks by the ship, you are too close. You need to be right where the World Event spawns to be efficient.
2. Stop being dicks. Share the spot. It doesnt matter who kills it. as long as you are in the area you can get drops. No need to melee or step in front of someone.
3. Don't go in for ammo. If you run out, stand still for 30 seconds and your primary ammo will replenish. Go get something to drink. The less time you spend picking up ammo the more chance you have of a drop.
4. Take breaks! This can be tiring. If you are tired and others are there, just go do something else. It will stop you from being anxious and let others farm efficiently.
5. Pay attention to gestures. If you see someone walk in front of you and point back, it means you are messing up the spawn, or you are doing something wrong. People don't take time to do this without reason. Don't just stand there. When I see someone too far up, I point first at them, then towards the back. Just try to pay attention to what others are telling you.

19 RepliesCheck this Was at the cave. In the lower left corner above my special bar it said. "The enemy is moving against each other" then outta no where we get swarmed by wizards, elders Exploders, eyes, and other yellow named enemies. I died a couple times. Anyone have this happen to them?

5 RepliesI laugh at people farming this cave, the enemies take a few ssconds to spawn and its only 3-4 at a time.. Mfw you dummies dont farm dark beyond mission, hell even farming venus strike is better than this worthless hole hahahahaha. I dance in your dumb cave as a sign to tell you scrubs to git gud.

Seriously, this game needs at least text chat. Some guy had to message me through Playstation to tell me to move back (I wasn't all the way in the front, but just enough so that Acolytes came out and not Thralls, didn't know that screwed up the spawns lol)

2 RepliesWhile I agree with every thing you have said I've had some connection issues recently that have randomly chucked me out of the game and back into orbit. Whenever I see a legendary engram drop I run and grab it, just to be safe.

Although this is farming, it's technically an exploit to get continuous spawns. I'd imagine it'll get patched eventually. I'm not having a go at anyone for this mind, to each their own. I've sat at this spot for about an hour, best I've had is blues. I'm happy to do this when I can't commit time to a strike, for example if I have to go out etc. Good tips in the OP though. I'd add using the black wax to maximise glimmer income too.

I fail to see how this would be considering abusing the game. In any other MMO, farming is a welcome thing and people interrupting you and disrupting your gameplay experience could actually get THEM banned.

2 RepliesI generally hop between bounties strikes, and farming all day long. It keeps the monotony from creeping in. I'm actually quite enjoying the game now, except for crucible. I still hate crucible.

It's just a game. Other players run by me in front of me, almost run into me, but it's no big deal. I just keep on trucking. It's not personal, no need to make it so.
