It's decided. I am going to buy the Wii U.
The Wii U seems to be an alright console.
The controller seems really fun to use, and the fact that you could also use it for and handheld as well. The games coming out for the console looks good: Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros, Pikmin, Zelda and much more.
Some of you guys think that violent related games are "the shit", but in reality games that are fun are very enjoyable.

I'll join you when Smash Bros. U is released. That game will carry me through 2014 alone - though I'll have other games, as well - which will take me nicely to the fall of said year where a certain 117 + Xbone will be waiting for me.

12 RepliesThe gamepad is as uncomfortable as all hell. Good luck playing for extended periods of time and the FPS on that console aren't worth playing because it's impossible. Also enjoy no games. They're all crap or mediocre except maybe Mario 3D, Sonic 3D and probably Zelda. But no good ports of multiplatform games...

I mostly play Pikmin and MH3U right now. Mario 3D World is looking really good, so I'll probably pick that up. Even tho I like my PS4 a little bit more the Wii U is definitely a fun console. Its only going to get better as Nintendo gets those new games out.

Get WW HD. You will not be disappointed. Also, reviews for SM3DW are pretty damn good. I really want to pick one up this Friday after my X1, but Zelda trumps Mario every day for me. Super excited for ALBW.

1 ReplyKNUCKS! I missed Halo 3 because I didn't have gold and my xbox had some..issues. Anyway. Good decision, this forum is surround by xb/ps fanboys. The WiiU has pretty good games although I do agree with the lack of games bit. It's going to change soon though, more games are coming. Anyway, i've been thinking about getting it, not now but later. Have a good time with your Wii U!

[/quote]So a game about a fat, italian plumber with severe drug addiction is better? He eats 'shrooms and grows twice his normal size? He eats a poppy plant and suddenly he's a pyrokinetic? He eats a leaf and suddenly he grows a raccoon's tail and can fly? We're supposed to be teaching our kids to stay [i]off of[/i] drugs, not help a drug lord feed his family... I'll take the violence over turning my kids onto drugs any day.

4 RepliesEdited by Winter Soldier: 11/19/2013 7:38:56 PMSuper Mario 3D World got excellent reviews across the board. 38/40 from Famitsu 9.6 from IGN 9.5 from Gametrailers 9.5 from Gamesradar 9.0 from Edge and added "the most next-gen game that 2013 has yet produced". 10/10 from Destructiod 5/5 from Joystiq Its a good time to be a Wii U owner, and its only gonna get better.
