At E3 2013 there will be maximum 20 minutes of Destiny starting at 3:00pm PDT. It may not sound like much to some but they will be able to get enough in it. Unless it has a random, secret event that is all we will see of it at E3.
Edit: To pretty much everyone who commented I know that 20 minutes is a very good amount of time. I was just stating this to people who aren't familiar with how E3 works and were expecting something as long as the Xbox Reveal event. I know we all would like to see hours of Destiny in any case.
What do you want to see? Gameplay is confirmed.

That's more than enough; some games don't even get 5 minutes.
-
20 minutes satisfies me for two reasons. First, it is only a game, and not a full next generation console reveal. Second, I would like Destiny to remain somewhat mysterious and not know every single detail about it until launch.
-
20~ min is just right.
-
There will probably be more at some booth after the event, right?
-
20 mins + more on July the 7th (Bungie day) I bet.
-
Lolwut? 20 mins is a lot for one game.
-
Hm. Isn't that longer than most demos?
-
That's 15 minutes of footage longer then I was expecting, I was thinking something like a 1 minute Trailer (CGI) & then 4/5 minutes gameplay. So.. I'm satisfied.

3 RepliesIf there's really 20 min of Destiny at E3, I'd guess there would be: -demonstration of no-menu interface -spaceship lands on planet -open world exploration -combat -loot and character customization -more combat with a drop in player's help -maybe vehicle use -maybe crafting -maybe Last City activities like gambling, trading, and PvP I would expect them to focus heavily on the shared world shooter aspect of Destiny. But overall I'm looking for a repeat of the feeling i got after the 2010 conference after Reach revealed space combat. I look forward to getting completely hyped.

"Only" 20

Edited by Tartan 118: 6/6/2013 10:55:06 AMThe Halo 4 gameplay demo last year was less than ten minutes, and that set the gaming world alight. I expect great things of this.
-
Depending on whether it is 20 minutes actually of the game or 20 minutes talking about it.
-
You might all say, "20 minutes?" I say, "20 minutes!"
-
1 Reply20 hours wouldnt be enough.... i will never be satisfied

20 minutes or gameplay/trailer is a lot from E3... Most Demo's aren't even 10 minutes.
-
20 mins is a lot of time for gameplay, especially considering we haven't seen any gameplay yet. I could see them arriving on one of the many planets, starting some kind of mission with all three classes, fighting whatever enemies are on that planet, and then leaving us with a cliffhanger at maybe a boss. That would give plenty of new information and even if it was 10 mins of gameplay I would still be happy.
-
They have a lot more games to show so im not surprised.
-
Eh. It's a little light, but after E3 news should pick up the pace a bunch, so we won't have to wait as long in between periods wanting info.
-
1 ReplyErm... doesn't the PS3 Conference start at 6PM Pacific?

Edited by PoeticW: 6/6/2013 1:13:50 AMAtleast 2-3 minutes of competitive multiplayer. A shorty story or side mission. Character customization Faction joining and how you will heighten your association with the factions gameplay showcasing each classes abilities(just one example) gained from the traveler show how the loot system will work demonstrating how drop in/drop out co-op will work obviously Trading system and the economy

misleading title. Add "at E3" to your title
-
That's longer than I expected. I assumed it was going to be maybe 5-10 minutes at most.
-
Gameplay is the most important thing for me.
-
20 minutes is good enough.. even if only 10 minutes of it is gameplay.
