I would imagine your character name doesn't have to be unique. If they are named at all. Your Gamertag and whatever PSN has would be what's displayed on your character.
Or some combination of the two. So even if you create a character called Achronos. I could also create one, and mine would show up as "Achronos <Nitron F117>"
