Replace the Legacy inventory with the new.
Whilst i don't like the idea of never being able to get old weapons back again,
but no one cares about these weapons.
Rather than the new weapons being only available per episode, have them go into the legacy tab instead.
Replace both Zavalas and Shaxx's inventory with these new weapons and armor.
Yes i know that 4 months is long and plenty of time of getting these items and perfect rolls of them. But changes happens to where a past weapon went from bad to must have. Not to mention how we are only on Episode 2 and wouldn't expect that the loot from Episode 1 to be permanently removed, right after it ended.
I am sure that i am not the only one who would like to get some of those weapons and armor sets again. I want to buy a Mint retrograde not a Xenoclast.
What are we ? back in the Shadow keep era again ?

5 RepliesThe Tower has a gunsmith why can't he have an engram for old guns it's already known that banshee has bad memory so getting an old random rolls for old guns should be an easy addition with a weekly set of guns to get a more drops on specific guns... And do the same for armor with Ada 1 and they collaborate on arms day/week... Functional lore friendly quality of life improvement...

10 RepliesIt's a massive problem they didn't extend the farmable gear from EOF into the present. As someone who didn't play for 6 months, there's loads of gear I cannot grab that's thriving within this meta. Really fun stuff......

This wouldn't even be an issue if they weren't absolutely stupid with decision making. This wouldn't even be an issue if they just put all the tiered weapon benefits onto the Crafting/Enhancement system and kept activity specific gear pools in the game. Raid and Dungeon loot would still be viable right now and you'd be able to still get Mint Retrograde because it would drop from The Sieve or Vanguard Ops. Honestly the gear system was a smidge away from almost perfect before EoF and then they decided to -blam!- the whole thing up and for nothing.

However then most likely recoil pattern might be messed up. Bottom line, we have too many either way. Imho. Edit. We still have a lot of old exotics having no catalyst to date. Still waiting for a 1k Voices or Anarchy catalyst...

1 ReplyNot certain how this would work. There are legacy rolls you will never get with reprised. Reprised rolls with new mods not seen in old. Random re-rolls on gear you spent days and hundreds of trash rolls filtering would be less than desirable. Some gear would never be reprised. Having a trade in system for similar new with accept and reject approval would be a much more desirable solution. Wholesale reshuffling is definitely no.
