Fix Trials
Sooo yea won 4 straight to get to 5.
Lost 20 straight since.
Bungie people don’t want to play sweats.
Put people with the same k/d. It’s not hard.
IDGAF about players at the top having to constantly play each other. That’s how it should be. Otherwise no ones going to want to play a mode where it’s possible to lose 30 times in a row.

I used to be terrible and now trials is easy When I say terrible i mean 0.53 kd bad Now I have 280 flawless and my Flawless Seal is Guilded 14 times. And [b]I still go on loss streaks it’s just how it is[/b] There’s plenty of PvP tip/guides online to read and or watch. And finding two other teammates makes this all the better

Remeber SBMM...... just what bungie cant do right.... Bungie devs Skill is so bad that they go off of what Twitch streamers say...... They dont listen to the casual player. I think i am going to be done with this trash game. Took a 2 months break and it was the best thing ever. Coem back to being pissed off with how trash developers and how its obvious they dont care because it shows. A live service game without the live fixes. They suck at their jobs.

1 ReplyWhen Bungie gives every one a little then some start asking for a lot. They've just made the largest QoL improvement for casuals in the entire game's history, now people are basically asking for passages to be pre-stamped with 7 wins when buying from S14.

Bungie uses KDA and not KD. The game is still dying and people arent playing the mode like they thought. All the mode did was help the bad players who will get 1 gun and leave.

Good luck trying to win 7 matches in a row for full rewards in a 50/50 environment where the game actively tries to keep you on a 50% win chance. That means in best case you get a long enough win streak after enough losses. It also means in worst case you win-lose-win-lose constantly in tandem too. You sure you just don't want it to be RNG + skill based instead of just win-rate + skill based?

I won by first seven games. They don’t need to fix anything, leave it as is. Or, just maybe, skill is a factor is how many games you can win?

If you’re losing 20 in a row your not matching “the top players” You’re losing to the average. This is a you problem. Improve your skills

You provided almost nothing to losses, and got carried to your wins. Cop/ paste trials hate posts. Every OP is the same.

Practice, they're pretty much handing it out to everyone now. Trials is easy mode now, compared to how it used to be. I'm not fond of the changes tbh because what was special about the light house is gone now. Just got to put in the effort and get better.

But look in the bright side, you've persisted and finally have gone to the Lighthouse for your Adept, which you seem to now have equipped (Withering Gaze + Repulsor Brace). So on the plus side, you've gained a weapon that you're using on the daily/general PvE activities.

Edited by itsCriTical: 2/16/2025 7:26:13 PMhere is the top10 Fix for you: 1) Get Skill / Aimlabs is Free on Steam 2) Learn the Maps 3) dont peak at sniper lines without Sniper 4) dont stay and dont move like a Bot 5) -> Dont use double primarys <- 6) Get Masterwork Gear LUL 7) Get a "Normal" build with good pvp stats <- 8) Dont use Pve Exotics 9) Do not yolo in 1v3 10) Do not wait for one which do Team Carry, you have to carry yourself. if you cant handle n Win a 1vs1 then should you not playing the Endgame PvP. And the best Free Tip: Play SMART not hard.

4 RepliesI hated Trials previously, but have enjoyed this opening weekend of the new experience; we'll have to see if it stays that way when player-count dwindles, with a less-desirable item on offer on a worse map. When it comes to PvP, there isn't really a way that a mode whose reward structure is based on win streaks can work with true SBMM. When every match is intended to be a 50/50, streaks of 5, 6, 7 simply aren't going to happen with the regularity they need to to make the mode appealing to anyone. This isn't exclusive to the top players - teams of 0.2 K/Ds facing each other will just as likely struggle to get long streaks as teams of 2.0s. Only needing 3 wins in a row to guarantee an Adept as a solo makes it much more enticing to the average player. I can't speak on what the stacked experience is like, but not needing any streak at all for an Adept doesn't seem bad. Players wanted Trials Adepts to become more accessible and that has certainly been accomplished. I have dismantled more this week than I had in the previous 5 years since Trials was added.

It's hard to win trials when you are sub .5 kd. But in the old system you would probably never see an adept, and now you've won enough games to aquire one. So there's an optimistic way to view it.

Agreed. I won't 3 and lost for 2 straight hours. It will put the 3 blue glow players together and the three lower kd players together in solos. It is absolutely awful.

10 RepliesAnd remove the quit penalty if you’re not going to change matchmaking. Or make it best of 3. Anything is better than being down 3-0, getting curb stomped because your teammates haven’t played in 5 years.

so it sounds like you want sbmm go play comp trials isnt a ranked game mode so no sbmm, also crying about sweats in trials is hilarious the hardest pvp activity well was the hardest pvp, the hardest skill check get good quite literally, they cant nerf or fix stuff around your skill level
