Destiny is unenjoyable.
The loot rng is awful. The perk rng is awful. Another week with no icebreaker and double armor dropping from the other encounters. Destiny 2 is not rewarding. This episode has a horrible artifact, and everything the team does is a miss. The modifiers suck. Bane enemies suck. Destiny 2 sucks for reasons that could be addressed, but bungie is too busy patting each other on the back for garbage work.

The complete removal of seasonal crafting was such an irrational, knee jerk reaction. No moderation whatsoever. All they had to do was make it so that only activity completion drops could be red borders. Make random drops enhanceable, no weekly freebie red borders, no red borders from focusing or vendor engram claiming. That’s it. Both sides appeased. Instead we have this awful tonic system where in act 2 we’re actually unlocking second act 1 weapon tonics instead of just getting tonics for the new weapons. We’re grinding materials again. 🤦♂️ The dungeon weapon chase STILL lacks meaningful agency. At least we got a chest that only one person can focus per run though. 🤦♂️ Festival of the lost is, I believe still the only event without a chance for double perk drops, and the activity didn’t change. Then we get annoying, punitive modifiers as a way to impose challenge.

I am so tired of getting all the old guns and armor of course I’ll never use now they give us new guns and armor that are the same guns and armor, but they’re new with new perks, but we have no vault to carry them in so they’re hoping we’ll delete all our old stuffand then they’re gonna bring them back saying oh -blam!- you should’ve kept that old stuff the post office my inventory awful don’t know which to get hold of because I don’t know what will be the mad at tomorrow

Overall the game is still top tier, the soul of destiny isn't. So it appears we've come to being just another soulless shooter. Destiny isn't relevant without the narrative
