Why cant we have match making in dungeons?
Please let us have match making in dungeons because nobody wants to help you and id rather have some random people who want a dungeon rather than a bunch of try hards who winge and moan about doing it there way bungi do something about this because im not the only one who would like this jes its horrible the amount of people who want you in there clan oh we'll do dungeons with you and when you ask it always nah wear doing a raid or some other bs.

If it ever happens, it has to be an optional setting on the launcher. Don't want randoms joining while waiting for friends lol

52 RepliesLow skilled gatekeepers who think that because they use lfg it sets them above the rest and gives them a false sense of superiority by locking other players out of activities. They will scream and cry about optional matchmaking for all activities because how will they feel special if was implemented and all players have access? Of course optional matchmaking hurts no one as you don't even have to use it. So the real anger comes from insecure gatekeepers who get carried on lfg teams. Real skilled endgame Sherpas would welcome the move to implement optional matchmaking for endgame content.

We’ll have an in game lfg next season.

Because someone may be attempting a solo run. Because a duo may be farming bosses for loot. Because some have quests attached to them and it would ruin said hunt if someone is not aware or joined a run in progress and missed steps. Etc etc etc

Now if they made a separate matchmaking system with ability to still play solo or duel, then I'd be fine with that. Also communication is required in dungeons, so that also would ruin things. Because Bungie and a vocal portion of the player base wants to gate keep as much content as possible, which leads people to stop playing. We're seeing how this affects the financial bottom line, yet they're still not intelligent enough to try to find ways for more people to actually want to play the game.

Over-delivery. They've done matchmaking for the menagerie and other events, sadly some players dont want to get better to play more "difficult" activities much less communicate with others to get a fireteam. A problem all around..

My god this argument again because of how many people are lazy in this game people will just want Carries they need the fixed groups so u kinda know what u are getting into or if they not pulling their weight u can boot I would maybe think about mm if they gave option to vote to boot but then u know trolls will abuse I know I would

I saw something about matchmaking in things that previously didn't have it and that might be the biggest request people have ever had. The more you think about it if stuff could be reworked to do it that's right back on the forever game train tracks.

If people on LFG won't help you, what makes you think a random person will? They'll just leave after you die lol. Also, AFK farmers. Enjoy.

People can barely do normal strikes, what makes you think that they would be able to do dungeons with people they haven’t met

LFG exists on this site/app and they’re adding it in-game soon. It’s just matchmaking with a pre-screening feature. If dungeon matchmaking operated like strikes, you’d get tons of AFK players, bots, and griefers with little to no recourse to remove them. LFG at least gives you a quick pre-screening and let’s you kick someone like that.
