Going back to the EDZ and finding Vex nodes hanging around quickly piqued my interest. Experimenting, noting the buff and timer, then the multiple other nodes. After finding them all and doing a bit of racing on my sparrow, I unlocked the area where the quest starts, I wandered in, excited to see what I'd opened up and when I found the flag my excitement... died, the exact second I saw the red label saying "Requires Season of Defiance".
It'd be funny if it wasn't so on-brand at this point, taunting F2P players with things they COULD have if they'd just spend a [i]little[/i] *cough*alot*cough* more money. Expansions, Seasons, Dungeon Keys... just so many gates that slam shut when you don't or can't pay.
It's honestly a funkiller at this point.
