Honestly, it's mostly the map. Still say that's the biggest issue with PvP all together is the lack of map diversity. We only have medium and small sized maps, and they're all built around arena style play. Close quartered with barely any cover. It's the main reason shotguns, fusions, SMGs, and sidearms will always be dominant. The maps are still based on D2 vanilla, back when we had double primary. We do have some decent ones (I'll be part of the few who say Disjunction is actually a better map), but we barely get them. Especially for Trials. I assume Bungie's worried about how long matches will go if we used bigger maps for Trials, but honestly I think it would create more opportunities for other playstyles than shotgun apeing.

The bad thing is this is how they want it to be permanently…..🤮
-
It's been awfull since they made the new changes and not having flawless pool just means sweats will be farming kd on players trying to get better at trials

21 RepliesEdited by Coal: 5/14/2023 1:23:15 AMTrials feels awful to you casuals every week. Your complaints are a broken record. Actually work to get better and improve, instead of complaining

Feels like sbmm is on
-
Only gonna get worse, time to be a gambit main I guess.

1 ReplyTrials matchmaking was absolutely -blam!-. I'm only an average player and I couldn't get decent teammates to save my life. I know it's bad when I'm getting the most kills and last guardian standing literally every game.
-
4 RepliesI surrender on even going flawless, non even once, you better play Rainbow six for truly competitive plays.
-
If you don’t realize it by now.. Trials labs is active this week. That means there are 2 pool the casual and advanced pool. If you’re suddenly having issue getting flawless and you didn’t before.. then welcome you have acendent from the casual pool to the pool who have accordingly to bungie played to much and other players should be protected from you. Your skill is to high and you messing up the player base so…. I would say welcome 🙏!!!!

lol the zone never moves. genius idea!
-
The worst part is that the zone never changes
-
Trials feels always awful. Only time it didn't was the first week of the first major rework when everyone was playing.
-
2 RepliesI played a three man team while in solo queue not sure what Bungie been fixing but it's not this game that for sure.
-
Definitely sweaty matchmaking

7 RepliesDude I suck rotten toe cheese and am still having fun. Feels 100x better than last week Also thank god for Cauldron, genuinely love how aggressive this map is
-
For some reason I am getting more server errors than last week, already booted out three times with bee error until now. Plus much more lagging than usual, getting killed through the walls from the other side of the map. My connection is good
-
2 Repliesnot true for me got a flawless passage of wealth going on, just 1 more victory.
-
Can i interest you in gambit then?
Ding!
-
Dude you played over 50 games yesterday to find that out 😂 Then you are going back for more?! Wakey wakey 🙄😂
-
Better than last week. No rusted lands is a win in my books
-
It's the new MM at work.
-
8 Replieslooks like the streamers are going flawless while enjoying a pizza party so well that likely explains it...
-
When does it not feel awful?
-
Trials feels awful every week.

"Always has been"

3 RepliesNew mm is weird imo. Randomly goes against a top 0.1% player trying to help my friend go flawless on the first game is not ok On the flip side many game had with people that have never been in trials or have not played destiny for a while. I thought this MM was supposed to help those people but in reality it didn’t help them at all. I have no idea who this new MM is supposed to help because no middle ground exist anymore and it’s lower or upper extremes now and It’s def not helping the little guy. I can say that it’s helping cheaters get some easy money doing Carries and recovs since they are not hiding a cloudstrike rapid firing like heir apparent or xeno flying through walls. Fun times
