Sad how we get so excited for D1 loot??? D2 is a bit stale when it comes to weapons that make us go wow can’t wait!

D1 was/is my all time favourite game but D2 has a lot of my favourite weapons. The trouble with D2 weapons are they aren’t always stand out crazy good. Take Witherhord for example. When that was released the Mountaintop was at its peak. So I didn’t even bother doing it’s catalyst that season. 50,000 kills later and it’s proven to be one of my all time favourite Destiny weapons.

Im looking forward the trials of the nine weapons, just gotta wait for bungie to patch the loot from dropping.

People loved black armory weapons and ask for them constantly. People miss the trials of nine weapons. Scathlocke is a favorite. Lunas howl was a loved weapon. Etc. There's a ton of legendary weapons from D2 that people loved and were excited about. Theres also a lot of loved exotics as well. So I'm not sure you're on about.

Personally I think D2's weapons are what make it great rn. People are loving Hezen vengeance (D1 rocket launcher) because of D2 perks like overflow and lasting impression. Perks are also just so much more powerful than D1, I'm more into the references in the Anniversary pack, not the weapons themselves.

What I liked about D1 exotics is that they were simple, versatile, and powerful. They also looked cool. This mainly goes for the Y1 exotics from D1 though. People have been complaining that exotics were underpowered since the taken king. I remember the exotics that were introduced in the taken king were all mediocre, and honestly exotics haven’t been the same since.

1 ReplyIdk I've seen lots of hype about Scathelocke and The Trials of the IX weapons returning. I haven't bought Season 15 so I can't speak for the new weapons, but they're probably aight.

We've have been eating good in the loot department since season of the Chosen. It's Ghorn though. What do you expect? Of course people are going to collectively lose their -blam!-. What bothers me is that is tied to an event that is pay walled in the middle of when we would normally have a new expansion. It really feels like they said let's just charge them for this content that should have been included with the expansion or season because we don't have much paid content for the fall/winter season. I'm not one to normally -blam!- and paint Bungie as these evil corporate entity, but idk how else to veiw this. Tons of people are alright with this being premium content too. The forums have been giving me aneurisms and more so than normal today.

Because it G-horn. You expect people to just go "ugh, more D1 content" when people wanted it back for years? I, in my opinion, dont really care that things come from D1, because its not the only thing to get it the season. If if was more than 50% of it, sure, but it isnt.
