Luke, no one wants to live in your "Luke Fantasyland". Sorry, not sorry. If you sunset ANY supers, Destiny 2 will die. End of story.
Edit: Holy shit this blew up. Thank you for the support. @El Delicioso your idea sounds so much better than Luke's.

7 RepliesSunsetting some of the supers makes perfect sense. There is very little to separate any of the classes from each other at this point. Class envy would be a good thing. Every class doesn't need to have the same basic idea for a super and that is what we have right now. They all play very very similar. Make changes, sunset the ones necessary to bring envy back to a class where you want to have a titan because no other class has the subclass to accomplish X in a mission or raid etc.

I mean is it that hard to just let us pick what perks and supers we want to use in a tree format from D1? Like I wish for PVP I could run weighted throwing knife and 6 shot goldy or blade barrage. I also love how it took them making stasis like it was a subclass in D1 to realize the D1 subclass system was better like havent D1 players been sayin this shit since D2 launched?

My suggestion, introduce the ability to swap supers, we currently have the ability to swap grenades and jumps via drop down panel by hovering over the currently selected one, what if we hover over the supers and they have a drop down panel as well? We can swap from Golden Gun to Blade Barrage, Nova Bomb to Nova Warp, etc. This way they can all have their own aspects and upgrades as well, more modularity to the community, more freedom, more options.
