But perhaps my ghost can get some therapy? I feel like it didn’t het the closure it needs?? I guess he was a funny dude or something.
Edit: im sorry you guys seem to have lost some one special. I dont have the history so i dont feel the same. And im not asking to suddenly know everything. Clearly this was some sort of sore spot for this community- i guess my ghost was not alone.
I hope you all find healthy ways to heal.
Im just a SAHW trying playstation with a free game. Im not trolling anyone or being mean.
I guess he was a funny dude or something.
Referring to him like this is actually funnier than anything cayde said. lol

That’s okay man you can catch cayde Tuesday nights in abcs “The Rookie”

Let me sum up.... Cayde-6 was just another mouthy hunter that got his just deserves!! Greatest day in D2! I gave Crow a medal for that!! Bravo Uldren... Bravo!
-
5 RepliesCayde was the most likeable character in the game, so of course Bungie in their infinite stupidity killed him off for cheap shock factor.
-
He was just another cunter, like the rest.

2 RepliesMost everyone loved Cayde, we worked for him, with him, saved him, laughed with him, laughed at him, got free Spicy Raman coupons (Bungie stole them from us!) and we inherited his beloved gun and the Colonel (well in emote form anyways). We got to interact with him far more and better then any other NPC and unlike dealing with Savala, he was FUN and BRAVE! Now we are stuck working with Crow, Caydes killer, sort of. Granted he did not pull the trigger, and he was basically possessed, regardless it was Uldren/Crow that was responsible. So its hard NOT to try and shot Crow while trying to benefit from him at the same time. Then there's Uldren/Crow's sister who left was a mess with little info and vanished to fight the Black Fleet leaving us with MANY unfinished story lines that are still running today. (In fact if you listen to all the messages in Savala's office the second to the last is from Mara) So basically we love Cayde and loath the Sov family Long live the memory of Cayde!

4 RepliesEdited by sati44: 11/19/2020 7:01:05 PMNah quite a lot of people think he was a walking meme, cringe and the jar jar binks of destiny. But those people usually don't care so they don't post in threads where the Zealots of the Retar... oh sorry I mean Holly Church of Cayde-6 meet to cry and flagellate themselves in the name of their lord and savior Jesus Cayde Christ.

2 RepliesWhat’s a sahw?

5 RepliesHe was the hunter vanguard and probably the most liked character in Destiny. The forsaken campaign explains a good bit of why people are so upset about Crow and Cayde.

Edited by Kärlek: 11/19/2020 6:20:00 PMCayde was the funny, carefree, spicy ramen loving, joke-cracking, Exo Hunter Vanguard. He used to be a human. He did jobs and bounties for Clovis Bray before be became a guardian. He had a gambling problem, his debts piled up, he turned to drinking. Clovis was willing to repay Cayde's debts if he would sell himself into the Exo experimental program. It was bloody, painful, and downright wrong. Cayde agreed. Clovis ripped Cayde apart and put certain organs such as the brain into this...Machine body known as and Exo. It is speculated that Cayde had a wife and a son whom he nicknamed Ace (thus his weapon, The Ace Of Spades). He began working for Clovis Bray as a security guard. I don't remember how he died, but when he did, he was revived as a guardian. He was a great friend to Andal Brask, the hunter Vanguard before Cayde. After Andal Brask lost the Vanguard Dare, Cayde succeeded him as Hunter Vanguard. Then fast forward to Forsaken. Uldren Sov, Prince of the Awoken, was grieving over the loss of his sister, Mara Sov Queen of the Awoken. Evil creatures known as the Ahamkara corrupted his mind, filling it with illusions if his Sister. He became so corrupt that he became leader to 8 scorned barons. Fast forward, he kills Cayde, our guardian kills Uldren. You can read more about Cayde on Destinypedia. (: Sorry about no paragraphs and the TL;DR aspect of this post. I haven't even touched on half of the subject of Cayde. He was a wonderful character of the Destiny Universe.

2 RepliesEdited by Calamity: 11/19/2020 5:42:40 PMI have not checked out the new and allegedly improved Newlight quest in the Cosmodrome but i highly doubt it fixes the problems with the story progression in this game. Shadowkeep is focused on dealing with Crotas legacy -a dude newlights never heard of- and fighting Nightmares of our past -which newlights don't share. They don't even know who the hell Ghaul is now. Forsaken expects Newlights to feel some kind of emotional investment to the loss of a character they never even heard of. Previously they at least had some interactions with Cayde in Red War. This game is schizophrenic. I've never seen anything like it in any other online game.
