What were your weirdest or scariest dreams?
Hi everyone!
I'm not sure if any of you remember me, but, I'm Pyrus! I used to be a regular here in the land of Offtopic, but I took a pretty long break because of schoolwork among other things. I've decided to make my grand return as a fresh start (I've even changed my PFP, background and everything! XD). It's great to see you all! And for anyone that's new to Offtopic, I welcome you all to this family!
So, to kick things off, what were your most scariest or weirdest dreams? Feel free to share and discuss them with your fellow Offtopians! Some of them may have encountered the same dream as you have! Some dreams may hold some important messages too!
[b]QUICK WARNING: I'm about to discuss a dream of mine that those who have arachnophobia may find unsettling. For those that do, I highly advise not clicking the spoiler below. For those that are adventurous, click at your own discretion![/b]
[spoiler]So, my dream...I've experienced a lot of dreams in my life, but, roughly three months ago, I had this pretty unsettling dream. I don't fully remember all of the exact details, but, I remember having this dream where this giant spider was wrapping me in a cocoon of cobwebs. What made this dream even more creepier was that I could practically [b]feel[/b] the cobwebs on my physical body! I was freaking out a lot by this, but, I could hear the spider speaking to me, saying something in relation to 'Be at ease'. I couldn't remember exactly what it said, but, weirdly enough it caused myself to stop tensing up. I woke up feeling...really strange. Luckily there were no cobwebs![/spoiler]

1 Reply[i]Generally speaking, I’m not very good at remembering my dreams. However, I have this weird thing, where I’ll dream about something, wake up and forget about my dream. And then, a couple of years later, the thing that I dreamed about would happen, and I’ll be overcome with a strong sense of deja-vu, and then I’d suddenly remember that I dreamt of ‘x’ event ‘y’ years ago. I wish there was a way that I could use this mysterious power to my advantage. How many people can honestly say that they predicted the future on multiple occasions? ( at least 10 accurate predictions over the course of my life, but less than 15. I’m also 40 years old, so that gives you a rough idea of my batting average as far as dream predictions go ). Shame my short term memory is completely shit. [/i]

1 ReplyAlright bear with me here. I have this same, reoccurring dream every so often. It happened a lot more (at some times once a week) when I was younger. I’m at the mall, with my family. Me and my twin brother are both 6 years old or so. We pass by a store for DumDums lollipops. I get a root beer, my brother gets this weird green mystery flavor (because mystery was always purple). He says it tastes... strange. He vomits right after. Said vomit forms itself into a giant snake. I don’t know what goes on in my psyche sometimes. Now, the dream used to end there. But for the last few years, it’s been getting a little longer each time. First the fire department arrives. The pukesnake either kills or knocks out all of them. Then my family is gone. So it’s just me, starring this thing down. I’m legitimately terrified of the next time I have the dream.

I’ve had really strange endings to dreams lately. The one that seems to keep reoccurring one way or another is literally getting nuked. I’m not even exaggerating, I’ll hear the nuke alarm in my dream, hear a loud bang and then a sort of bright light and then I wake up feeling really weird...I know it might sound ridiculous, but I don’t even know how to explain it.

Dreamed that I was about to be buried, whether I was alive or not. Tried to find a way to die, but didn't know how to go about doing it. It was very unsettling. Still remember it, almost 40 years later.

Scariest would have to be a dream of when I was around 6 or 7 years old. I don't remember what I was doing in my dream all I remember is that my parents suddenly drove away leaving me alone in God knows where.

I had a dream where I was on the school bus going home. Outside the window I looked as the sun was setting. It was a beautiful darkness with orange and yellow over the horizon So as we passed a near infinite amount of trees all lined perfectly and spaced far enough apart to view the scenery as blinking, there was a feild behind them, then a lake, then a town and then... Tornado's appeared just in front of the town and finally... a colossal silhouette of a rock being could be seen walking towards me... That wasn't the only time I'd seen Tornadoes and Rock being. In another dream I was in a hut I looked outside to see a bunch of fields around me but if you looked to the left facing the sun, there was a town and when I looked towards the sun.. There it was more tornadoes and the colossal silhouette of the rock being could be seen.. Needless to say I was panicking but calm.. It got closer and closer until I could figure out that it was a rock being.. It looked like it was going to walk past me but then it stopped.. Turned to look at me with its red glowing eyes.. And then I woke.

Every now and then I have dreams where there are massive spiders everywhere. Like 4-6 times the size of a normal Huntsman or Tarantula. I normally get a big shock seeing a larger spider in person but in the dreams it only slightly weirds me out.

Dream from a few days ago: I started watching a livestream that my friend was doing when I blacked out. I woke up in a school building and my mom drove me home. She said when she first found me in the building, I was jerking it to Weird Al videos. My response to that was “No.”

I used to have a recurring dream that I was chased by the Little Red Hen (it’s this kids book idk if any know it) and she was trying to eat me

Idrk I rarely dream But I have one where I jump off a ledge into nothingness and all fades to black... but I wake up at the same ledge and I do it again. And again. Until I wake up... Sometimes I will have dreams that seem incredibly similar to real life. So much that I think I’m halfway through a math test that I have to take and then wake up. And still have to take the test 😂 Other times I will have very strange seeming dreams that come from nowhere, sometimes simple like the closing of a car trunk or seeing a large inflatable water slide (these are the two most memorable) But oddly they actually happen I remember that these things happened in very similar weather and time of day judging by the sun. It freaks me out but at the same time it’s kinda cool as it seems that I’m seeing a bit of the future. Also the timeframe of the occurrence of the dream and the irl event can be years or even a day...

I had a recurring nightmare as a kid. My mom worked at Disneyland and in my dream I'm running around Carnation and I turn a corner and I see a platter with my mom's decapitated head.

Ok [b]A few years ago, I didn't have a great relationship with my mom. But we were still cool. One night, I had a dream that took place in my room. I was certain that I just woke up, but I didn't. I opened my closet door, and I saw a figure with a white dress, green skin, red eyes, and that figure was staring at me. Then, it jumped at me. I woke up, scared to death. The next day, I told my mom about it. We spent some time together, until I had to go to bed. Once again, I had the same dream, but I was in a basement. I opened a door, and I saw the exact same figure, but it's body was like a ragdoll. Then, I woke up; I was really scared. I told my mom about it, and we spent more time together. I never had that dream again. [/b] [i]I have terrible memory, so that's the only when I can tell[/i]

I had a dream where a floating head kept telling me to not wake up. I was in middle school then. Another weird dream I had was getting to play hollow knight silksong early on the switch. Everything in the dream looked so real down to the smallest details in my room, I almost thought it was real. That happened after I killed NKG for the first time.

I had this one reoccurring dream. It starts with a happy frog jumping around in the city streets. He jumps into a puddle and starts to sink. At the bottom there's two sharks. They eat the frog and then make a painting of the frog. They laugh and burn the painting. Fade to black. Now there's a girl who's outside of a pink and white house playing. The seasons change, spring, to summer, to fall, to winter, all while she's aging. When she's about 9 (about the same age I was when I had this reoccurring dream) her dad killed her with a shotgun all while her mom was laughing and painting a picture of the scene. They then burn the painting kissing. I would then wake up on the opposite side of my bed, or in the fetal position. I had this dream from about when I was 6ish to 10. When I was 6-8 only the frog part played, but no eating of the frog but when I turned 9 I got the girl playing part, but without the dad killing her. Then when I was 10 I got the part where the frog was eaten and the girl was killed. I only had the full version once, but it's permanently ingrained in my mind.

4 RepliesOk so a night or two before this one I watch a video about sleep paralysis and wondered what it would be like, so I guess it kind of spawned this dream. Basically, In the dream I had sleep paralysis, and the sleep paralysis demon was on my desk looking through my laptop, so I asked them what they were doing and they said something along the lines of “taxes”. I think I told them that I would be back before they where done and I went to the bathroom, but the toilet wasn’t there. Then it ended
