1 ReplyEdited by Tiny Førklift: 6/3/2020 9:20:02 PMYou know those americans who keep spouting "US is the best country ever in every way and every other country is shit and just jealous"? Im laughing big time at them rn. So glad I live in Norway. But fr tho...rioting and protesting are two separate things. And clearly, the media isnt exactly knowledgable about the definitions of those. Or alot of other things for that matter. Destroying random and innocent business and property affects the quality of life for everyone that even slightly depend on such things. And I can not for the life of me see why and how we can truly justify that. Let me put it like this; "Im extremely upset because of X ((Y) Z), therefore I am literally going to blow up an atm, steal a tv, smash some windows and trash a few cars, directly and negativly affect not only the business but also the life of others who are completely innocent, if not outright destroy them" Dont know 'bout you chief but that sounds kinda stupid to me. I can already see the counter comment. Here, imma explain why that doesnt work either: yes, maybe the higher ups dont listen to words. But, the second you start vandalising and/or become a terrorist, you've already invalidated yourself and your words, regardless of how true they are. No sane people will listen to others portraying that behaviour. But hey, thats just my two cents. I might have misunderstood something or not seen something important yet. These are just my current observations.

1 ReplyHate em and probably just going to make things work. Violence almost never fixes a problem. I know that makes me sound like a pacifist. But look at the ishue of slavery. Only the USA went to war over it. The only time violence has fixed problems is tyrannical governments. Sometimes that even fails. For example communist countries. WWII didn't fix the ishue of the faction that won't be named they still exist. Looting and rioting won't fix the violence rate against races.

I kinda wanna move back to Australia, TBH

They kinda hurt themselves in their own confusion. *Starts riot in the name of equality* *sets fire to a building with children inside* *kills several black cops for no reason* *Also burns down store owned by a black guy* *Proceed to celebrate because racism has been stopped.*

Edited by deathwolfclaw666: 6/3/2020 7:27:50 PMPeaceful protests - great, change needs to happen and cops need to understand that they can't get away with things just because of their position. Riots - opportunist, trash, racist, etc. To me they are disgracing the guy's memory. BLM V ALM - there was a video I watched a few days back that brought up a good point about the word "revolution", fact is it's defined differently depending on who you ask. Point is that dialog on what it an individual defines it as is needed rather than arguments about non-inclusion and hate as we have now. To me BLM is still ALM just with an emphasis on "black" people for they are seen as more at risk. That's part of the issue for me if you really want to get past racism. Rise above the concept of "race", look at other as people not by how they look. That's just me anyway, perhaps I've just taken Morgan Freeman's words on a bit too much. Any way inb4 more trolls.

3 RepliesOh I’m not brave enough for politics

If someone tries to break into my house and hurt my family, they have forfeited their life.

The protests message has been corrupted. Businesses are virtue signaling like they do in pride month, but they encourage to donate to groups that loot, burn, and beat the shit out of people that get in their way. How much of that money of yours is going to brick being used to beat cops over the heads Bungie? Do they deserve it? I been saying it before and I will say it again. Bungie doesn't have much goodwill of players to make big brain plays like this.
Btw, I don't see the hype with your next dlc stuff. After this last garbage season it better be damn good. 1 ReplyPeaceful protests are good. Looting and innocent people getting hurt are bad.
-
Peaceful protests are a first amendment right. Sunsetting weapons is a violation of the second amendment.

Protest are fine. Just no riots.

Edited by Architect: 6/4/2020 12:57:00 AMHopefully there was a symptomatic person among them, then they'll all take lockdown seriously and see that right now surviving the epidemic is far more important than race politics and destroying the property of people who weren't even involved.

As far as I'm concerned its shown the US police to be woefully inept at de-escalation. Once again, agitators have had the easiest job in the world inflaming the situation. It just keeps happening over and over and over again.
