With the state of this gun and how it preforms compared to other heavy weapons both in PvE and PvP, there is absolutely no reason to use this gun.
It lacks the damage, the aim assist, the magazine, and the uniqueness to be in the heavy slot when literally anything else could be a better option. You’re already giving up so much to use this gun, but it easily gets beat out in dps by a Tranquility with firing line.
This was once one of my favorite exotics, and now its not worth anything. If it was moved to the special slot, this gun would be so much more fun and and usable. A vaporizing sniper rifle that charges is a cool concept, but when put into practice post nerf, it just feels like nothing. Nothing at all.
I wanted this gun to be a staple part of my loadout, but im struggling to find a reason to use this awful gun. Please just put it in the special slot. It is not worth the heavy spot.

11 RepliesNot a fan of Arbalest? l remember the horrible Gambit period where that thing was so dominate lol
-
4 RepliesI would rather see its damage buffed and keep as heavy. It is so much more easier to get kills in PvP than sniper, I don’t see how it could work as special. Unless it is nerfed to be like Arbalest (only precision headshot kills), which would lead that no one would still use it as a special. Bungie should add weekly global bounties to get pinnacle or shards for specific weapon grind kills. Only way to make people use shit and add variety.

6 RepliesNo! No and Hell no! PVP will be all QB's. Mark my words "THIS WILL BE A HUGE MISTAKE!"

this gun is 1 shot everything at 300 charge time. on short and mid range. and blind target at long range. with snapshot . If its move to enegry slot . alot of nerf rage predator on forum will scream on it and in the end. They will remove this gun from a game. You have no idea what is you done. seriously .

73 RepliesThanks for the suggestion. I'll bring it up the idea of moving Queensbreaker to the energy slot to the team.
-
1 ReplyGun can suck a dick with its 10000 aim assist
-
Why not simply make all linear fusions special ammo (with exceptions, such as sleeper)? I love the weapon type, but there is no variety and they dont perform well enough to warrant the heavy requirement. Let them be an alternative or competition for snipers.
-
Blame the gambit cry babies.
-
I'd rather it be worth the heavy slot than be a special weapon tbh. I like linear fusions as heavy weapons they just need to get buffed.
-
You mean move it back to the slot it was originally in, no way bruh
-
I was horribly disappointed when I found out they moved that weapon to the heavy slot. I really enjoyed using it in D1 and now I never touch it.
-
Pretty much a charge up sniper rifle.
-
5 RepliesSame goes for Whisper of the Worm.
-
5 RepliesArbalest is proof that linear fusions aren't op as specials. Make them all special energy weapons except sleeper. Good snipers are still gonna outgun you in pvp anyway. They won't break the game as specials.

Agreed

Edited by Barracon: 11/27/2019 7:40:49 AMPersonally i like the idea of this being moved to the special slot so there would be an exotic line rifle in each slot to chose from. Now i would think the fast charge would be similiar to a rapid fire or adaptive sniper in damage and the long charge would be comparable to an aggresive frame sniper. The former would be better for pvp and the latter for pve, but just my opinion on the weapon someone else mentioned holding reload to change scopes, Great idea

Just give a rework make feel like it should be in the heavy slot.
-
27 RepliesThis and DARCI should be in the energy slot. Very forgettable weapons now that serve no purpose.
-
I would have no issue with this so long as the blinding effect is removed. I know some gl's habe a blinding effect but it is hardly noticeable. With queenbreaker the body shot completely blinds you making for a very easy cleanup and doesn't reward skill or precision. Also.unless they hanr changed the stat on queenbreaker it's got an incredibly high aim assist value.
-
It needs a damage catalyst
-
The problem will always be PVP/Gambit balancing. Why not leave them in the heavy slot but buff their PVE damage to compensate?
-
36 RepliesIf one heavy weapons must move to energy slot, it's the D.A.R.C.I. Not a dangerous linear who can one tap anyone in PvP from the otherside of the map. And I don't even talk about Gambit...
-
32 RepliesLinear fusions to special and jotunn to heavy I say...

3 RepliesEdited by Dirty8Speciall: 11/26/2019 2:46:52 PMLFR's are basically snipers with a delay, but with not much to make up for having a delay and they're stuck in the heavy slot. Remember when QB had tons of ammo because that was the bonus you got for giving up the instant shot? Yeah, the whole weapon group has no real purpose anymore. Thanks Gambit for sucking ass and killing a weapon group in the process! Edit- I checked, it was 89 rounds you could carry with QB. Now it's barely any better than sniper reserves. The gun is one of the worst guns in the game right now, it really deserves some attention. It should have been moved back to the special slot when all the snipers (except whisper) got swapped back over and it should have ammo reserves that make delayed shooting a balanced negative. I'm not saying 89! But maybe 1.5 times sniper ammo.

2 RepliesIt would be house of wolves all over again. I remember that thing dominating in pvp (this was when you kept special after dieing)

24 RepliesShut the -blam!- up. All this forum did was -blam!- and moan about queensbreaker AND sleeper in gambit pre-nerf. Y’all made y’alls god damn bed now sleep in it. IN FACT EVERY -blam!-ING THING, EXCEPT AUTO-RELOAD, HAS BEEN NERFED BECAUSE OF THIS SHITTY ASS FORUM.
