On a cool October evening in Offtopic a masked figure sped along on his hoverbike. Narrowly dodging pedestrians and traffic the rider blazed through the streets in the direction of the capitol mall. Sliding to a stop in front of the Keysler Spire, the figure dismounted. As he approached the entrance, he tossed a cigarette bud and lit another. The security on duty noticed the figure, but made no notice. His grey suit and golden monocle gave him an air of authority and prestige, covering any warning signs he hid underneath. The figure entered the security checkpoint. The metal detector was alerted, so the guards brought him to the side. Opening his coat to check him, he filled them with lead. Holstering his silenced revolver, the figure rapidly entered the elevators and ascended to the 91st and highest floor, senator level. Entering in an explosion of smoke and elevator, the occupants screamed in terror. Casually walking into the center of the party, he tossed a large metal ball. With a flick of the wrist, he tossed more platinum spheres that rolled into air vents, other rooms and access hatches. Grabbing one of the senators by the collar he dragged her to the edge of the terrace. “Going up?” he asked. She gave him a look of confusion, then felt herself flying into the sky. A balloon lifted her into the air by her left hand. Attaching a small metal device to her back he gently pushed her over the edge. Looking down 91 stories, the senator screamed. “Hehe. Now for the messy part.” Turning now to the huddled group of scared senators, the figure shot one in the forehead, instantly killing him. Grabbing a radio and turning to view the screens in the commercial district, he cleared his throat. He tapped his watch, and immediately the screens showed him and the senators on the rooftop. “Salutations, Offtopic. I’m a simple man, really, so I won’t waste you time. I want 100 trillion dollars of untraceable funds and the small box in President Ringleader’s office. If not, I kill these oligarchs. I’ve already killed one, so you know I’ll do it again(gunshots as he kills 2 more). That is all.” He begins to put down the radio, but quickly turns it on again. “I almost forgot the heroes! Ah, yes. Don’t try to save them, or I’ll kill them all.” The figure puts down the radio, and detonates the explosives in the elevators and stairwells. No one is getting off this floor.
