Banned when launched on Steam

When I launch the game on Steam it says my account has been banned. https://gyazo.com/75d404582295d9078a49ded7080f6ecf When I log onto Bungie.net with my blizzard login I get this which is my correct chars: https://gyazo.com/683dad98778cc6eacc90af6c919b7d8d If you look at the name of the account you can see that it is my account and at the top it says my licenses have been transferred but if I log out and log into bungie.net via steam instead of blizzard it shows 3 different characters under my same account and I tried unlink my steam and reconnecting on my blizzard account and it said I couldn't because my Steam account had a Destiny 2 Ban please help me. https://gyazo.com/cdf6fdffed83ad4eb1bc46753507ae2f Here is a video of me trying to set up the transfer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcGGfDE82JM&feature=youtu.be If you pay attention to the emblems and silver they are different after linking I had it set up pre launch and this happened so I unlinked it to try to relink it to my account and it keeps happening

  • Your account was banned on April 1st for running a known cheat specifically designed for Destiny 2. The account was banned when playing on Battle.net and remains banned when playing on Steam. Your ban has been reviewed and upheld.

  • Same problem here. My account wasn't banned on the Blizzard launcher but it was instantly banned as soon as l logged into the Steam version. I didn't even get to the character selection screen.

Bans, Restrictions and Suspensions. LEARN THE DIFFERENCE. BANS are permanent and apply to the whole game. The message usually says: "NOT SO FAST! This account has been banned." And looks like this http://imgur.com/gallery/Tw7g7Jg RESTRICTIONS are temporary. The message usually says: "RESTRICTED! This account is temporarily restricted from _______." And looks like this http://imgur.com/gallery/st40PuU If it is your 1st RESTRICTION it's USUALLY 2 weeks. If it is your 2nd RESTRICTION it's USUALLY 2 months. RESTRICTIONS can stack on each other, usually due to the severity and frequency of multiple reports overtime. So 2 weeks AND 2 months, so to most players there won't be a 2nd splash screen and the RESTRICTION ends later than expected. RESTRICTIONS USUALLY end during the reset of that week and not the day of. If you have had 2 prior RESTRICTIONS a 3rd penalty can either be a much longer RESTRICTION or a lifetime RESTRICTION from Crucible and Gambit or a full on lifetime BAN from the entire game. SOMETIMES you will be given a splash screen that looks like this http://imgur.com/gallery/GpYKBGG warning you of an issue so you can fix it before a restriction is placed. In-Game Gambit/Competitive Crucible SUSPENSIONS are only 30-60mins and placed AUTOMATICALLY if you leave too many games in a short time span for ANY reason. Whether it be a ddos, error code or power outage. The message usually says: "TIME OUT! You left a ______ match before it was complete…." And looks like this for Competitive and Gambit http://imgur.com/gallery/stqxYIj They WILL NOT respond or message you. They WILL NOT tell why a punishment was issued. EDIT: [Recently (as of June 28/2019) SOMETIMES BNGSecurity will give a general reason why the punishment was placed. They look like this http://imgur.com/gallery/eSY1iGc] They don't have to. They don't care. Loyalty. Time played. Content purchased. Gear earned. When you started. Intent. Threats. Begging. It is all irrelevant. They make the rules. We have to follow them. Break them and they penalize you. There is NO course of action to appeal any punishment issued. They WILL NOT lessen or remove any punishment issued for any reason. They've had this no tolerance policy since Day 1 of D1. It won't change anytime soon. The reasons most ppl have a punishment issued to them is: For some form of cheating (ddossing, afk farming). Playing with cheaters (paying for a carry, sharing account info, or staying in a lobby with a cheater for too long and benefiting from their illegal actions). Or having consistently terrible internet connection that it affects OTHERS players and not just yourself. You may be playing fine. But to others you may appear as an unkillable red-bar. For most PC tagalongs: They are banned because SOMETHING installed on your PC was viewed as a POTENTIAL threat to D2 and those are PROMPTLY BANNED. The process for BANS and RESTRICTIONS involve reports coming in from players or their flag system towards an individual. The Bungie monkey at HQ reviews it. And they decide if it was warranted or not.  [/spoiler]

            • The same thing happened to me. I started the game, spent 20 minutes in the menu, booted into the hub location, spent 5-10 minutes there. After all of this, I was thrown into main menu, and when I tried to enter the game I found out that it was banned.

              • As the subject says. Back when the game first came out I played a few hours, but lost interest. Went to go back after the previous expansion (before the steam shift) but kept having connection errors, so I stopped trying (Note, never even got to the character selection, it just didnt get past the splash screen). Yesterday, after reinstalling, I went to try and play, and found the account banned? With no links to support I can find, just a rather nebulous link to a 'reasons for banning' page, but to my knowledge I've not done anything on that list beyond an error where I couldn't log in at all, which I blamed activation for. Can someone tell me what is happening? Or how I can fix this? English #Help #gameplay

Trying to log in much like you all, didn't play it much on Blizzard, then after forsaken dropped I couldn't log in (connection issue with my wi-fi it said) Got it transferred over, installed, and then it says I'm banned :(
