1 ReplyI don't mind Countdown. It's the only "Attack & Defend" game mode... HOWEVER, it should be best of 7 like Survival, not best of 11. It takes too long.

The game mode is good and one of the only true competitive modes.

I really like countdown, the one game mode where heavy rarely comes in to play.

Bump. Countdown is the worst. D1 salvage was better.

It's actually the mode I think comp should be. Respawns have no place in comp in my opinion and there has to be an objective so it doesn't turn into the trials of old, which I hated. Countdown is really the only gamemode that first requires, but most of all rewards different strategies, I love it. It's the formula of quite a few comp games, csgo for example and it may not be your cup of tea but I think it's the best mode we have for comp.

6 RepliesIt's a good mode, it just drags on for too long. Make it 4 rounds instead of 6 like survival and it'd be a lot better.

No I love countdown. Probably one of the best comp game modes. I'm sorry you don't like actually having to leave spawn/ use tactics?
