Make forges account wide
My friend wants some help with the forges and I feel like playing with my hunter or warlock, but they haven’t unlocked the forges yet.
I refuse to do that long boring grind for the forges on multiple characters. It’s just grinding the same old content from before black armoury.
Make forges account wide. The unlock process is too boring and tedious to do more than once (even once was a struggle due to boredom).

Can we finally fix the izinagi quest not dropping for all toons? Waiting for a garbo rare bounty on the lucky toon is dumb.

If you've done it once it should be available for all characters. It annoys me having the Cayde's Will quest given to me despite the fact i already have his gun. I think it should auto-complete if you've done it with another character. They're not going to do that though, Bungie don't listen to player feedback despite the claims made by the employee's that post on this forum.

1 ReplyThis is another reason I haven't played in awhile. I still have story missions to do on my Titan from CoO but they are so boring who would want to run them for a third time? Story missions need only do once.

The quests are the epitome of tedium. Once is more than enough for this sorry excuse for "content".

1 ReplyPffft, right. And next year's annual pass will be free. But really, has anything ever been an account-wide unlock on this game? I'm seriously trying to think of something. Ranks for Gambit/PvP are, and certain pinnacle weapons are account wide. But not a thing, ever on the PvE side that I can recall. Stories are per character, unlocking the heroics on Mercury are per character, forges and even unlocking hard mode for raids in D1 was per character. There might be something out there, but it's really not the norm and I don't expect Bungie to change that any time soon.

For the love of god please, extend it to cross platforms too. I’d buy the annual pass if I didn’t have to do the forge quests again

11 RepliesI disagree. Since we have different characters, unlocking the forges and activities like it should stay character based. Yes, it might be boring, but they are not hard and easily doable on multiple characters, i.e. the destiny 'grind' experience.

The artificial grind is too important to Bungie. You are not.

Agreed, the unlock should be account wide. There’s no roof on Bergusia forge so we should be able to fly right in there. -
11 RepliesClearly they will not do this, because it creates a time sink and is purposefully inconvenient. There's a reason why you have to DRIVE to the forge instead of just being able to launch it from the main screen...they want to make every single activity to be as tedious as possible to make you play as long as possible.

I unlocked all three on my Hunter (main) and did the first two on my Titan. None on my Warlock. And there's no way in Hell I'm doing the Izunami quest a second or third time.

I have the first forge on all accounts but on one i have alot of those logs to buy frames but ffs they can only be used on that one account! This what you say and mostly that i hate the most... all to keep us busy i gues, buy yeah it needs to change

I just hate this crap of making me do a difficult strike with no matchmaking. Screw that!!! I'll just use my one character to get the weapons and pass them on to my other character.

Just let one character train in the way of the warlock, way of the hunter and way of the Titan and pick between them in the tower. That’s the only realistic way to Move Destiny to the more modern frame or javelin don’t grind the same content three times way of doing things.

Every time I'm on nessus and see a spire public event, I always try to help because I know those can be tedious to find and they're exactly the fastest to complete.

3 RepliesOr, and stick with me here, that would possibly limit the number of powerful frames per week you could get to 2. 67% less chance for Le Monarque, Jotunn, or curated rolls of things like Kindled Orchid. Besides, it only take about an hour per forge, some even less. The change may not affect the bounty system, but if it did, it could have a lot of crappy consequences. Instead, you could just grab riskrunner and whisper and head to Bergusia.
