Topic body...let's raise our voices to end this....the fact that we have to use the little cores we have for infusion and we even barely get cores to begin with...either cores are made easy to acquire or removed from infusion......well this was bound to have an opposition faction.....Bungie it's about time you did something...can't you hear your people's humble cry...1800+ guardians and yet still bungie is doing the bird box challenge.
-
In general it seems like too much is needed to upgrade. It's like 4 things and if you don't have those, you have to figure out how to get it... Forget that. Every time I think bungie might turn it around and make the game good, they mess it up again and again and again. You know, not everyone has hours and hours to play this game... It's tedious, very tedious.

I believe enhancement cores are great right, so I can't help you much with that. If I throw some empathy into this, I am sure things are tough for new/leveling players, so my empathy side says, "they should reduce the cost for infusion".

3 RepliesRemove for infusion Keep for masterwork I’d change my mind if it was only 1 for infusion and master working was only 7 total.

Come on bunjie its time to take them out now, as of writing this message the upvote is at 1463. it time!!! you need to stop being so stubborn about this and just take them out of infusion, let infusion serve the purpose it was meant to serve which is allow people to look different after doing endgame content or let them enjoy the armour they like or weapons that they have already earned. Let enhancement cores be used for their intended purpose which is to masterwork weapons and armour which is so hard to do because i spend it all on infusion and any i have left over i keep because i know i will need them for the next light level increase. Its just got silly at this point.

C’mon Bungie!! This thread is on 🔥🔥!

Still an issue and not going away.

1 ReplyCould we just have progression in general be overhauled? This one item is not the real issue.
-
9 RepliesWe have cry babies on TLW thread disrupting our momentum on this topic. Grind for loot - good Grind for materials - bad when it’s out of the normal gameplay loop. No one wants to grind for weapons then grind again justbto use it in relative content.
-
3 RepliesThey should revert to the old infusion system. Just glimmer and you can infuse.

One of the frustrating aspects for me is getting to max light for my hunter and not being able to fully make use of gear I want to use after spending so much time working to get certain items. I can’t use all the gear I want because you constantly have to sink enhancement cores into everything to either infuse or masterwork them. Please remove enhancement cores or make them much more accessible to acquire (like a permanent and unchanging cost via Spider). Or can they be added to rewards for completing activities, in the same way we receive powerful gear drops, can that also include one or more enhancement cores as well?

4 RepliesWow. Single most upvoted thing I've ever seen on here ... and not one word from Bungie.
-
No one from Bungie reads the forums.

1 ReplyInfusing gear in D1 was so simple compared to this

To answer the last part. I can hear the crying, yes.

Edited by Calevis24: 1/31/2019 12:23:46 AMThe ironic thing about all this is that Light Level isn’t even THAT important in this game haha. It’s just something we arbitrarily assigned importance to to justify the endless grind of this game. Seriously, once you’ve met and are slightly over the required light level for an activity, there is barely ANY bonus to being way overpowered because everything scales so drastically. Want to solo the nightfall because you’ve worked your way to be 150 or so over the suggested level?! Think you’ll be a killing machine primed for death?! NOPE. Have fun pouring a million bullets into one hive Knight to take them down! What’s crazy is I completely agree about cores, but at the same time, if I’m 650 and equip a heavy that’s like...600, I’m gonna drop maybe five points overall, and basically see NO change to how the game treats me. Sorry for the mini rant, but if acquiring power and leveling gear is gonna be so grindy, it should at least reward you with some real power ;)

2 RepliesWow it's still up.

Now i've got zero cores after the whole infusions. Still not one armor piece or weapon masterworked! is it really the goal of the enhancement cores to be there just for the infusion? Bungie, I don't want to be forced to do stupid bounties from spider or grind to farm these misused cores!
-
Cores need removed from infusion
-
1700 upvotes and bungie still doesn’t care.
-
Up voting anyway... Even though I know Bungie is too stubborn to make the change because they know it's one of the only ways to drag out the grind for the pathetic amount of content in the game.

1 ReplyEdited by Guardian6370: 1/31/2019 9:11:50 AMI feel sorry for anyone who thinks this system is fun , give us a grind for gear and better rolls Not grind for materials, what is wrong with some people ffs games are meant to be fun , this certainly isn’t . Good job Bungie is listening This needs sorted not ignored and everyone should be behind this

Cores should only be used for master works only. Bad enough hard to get, but having to use them to infuse is a pain. Raise the glimmer price and call it good.
