PLEASE PLEASE remove enhancement cores from infusion and make them for masterworks only. That is the only thing I ask for. I could see if you only had to infuse everything once to get to max power level but each time there is a power level increase you are screwed because you have to do it all over again with no cores... and there are not enough good ways to obtain them.

7 RepliesThey were added to extend grind time and nothing more. I can’t believe people defend them being added for infusion.

17 RepliesYou have 3 650 characters. Now is the time to horde them for jokers wild. :)

I agree that enhancement cores are Not to be used in fusion. They can stay for insusion cost in exotics which makes some sense since we have exotic shards in D1. But regular legendaries should not cost. I have only masterworks a couple items in game since Forsaken launches and that’s saying something because I play almost religiously every day. I the bounties on multiple characters, including the scrapper ones, I delete legendaries, and everything in between and I still am always coming up short. It’s insane. Remove cores from infusion. The cost of other mats is already pretty high, why make it worse?

3 RepliesRemove cores from the enhancement process. I prefer to grind for gear not cores.

2 Repliesnope.. I have never been lacking in enhancement cores and I consider myself a regular player with about 1000 hours of D2 so far. My advice? Spend wisely and try new things on your way up to max light. Stop enhancing meta weapons. There are some hidden gems I've found organically while working my way up to max light that are fun and usable that I may not have found otherwise.

Edited by cycofreak3: 1/17/2019 6:26:01 AMWhile we're at it I genuinely think the cost on masterworking anything is far too high. 15+ for a weapon, wtf? I don't even know how much for armor because it's just not worth whatever it costs. Oh and if you are ever lucky enough to get a weapon or armor piece that is say, masterwork tier 7-8, you still only get 1 core, yet 10 gives you 7. Which is still too little reward considering the cost of that in the first place.

26 RepliesIve played for about 4 weeks and I have 120 or so enhancement cores. Stop spending them unless it’s actually for a 650 upgrade. I’ve used a good amount to get masterwork and on certain items else I’ve just saved them to have them for a real good upgrade. I think the people that cry about them are just spending them constantly else you would have more than enough.

in y3 EC will get removed as a selling point. I don't agree or like it but that's the way I see this playing out.

I feel bad for all the players that don't have a clue on how and when to spend cores. I bought this game 3 months ago and have over 300 hundred cores at the moment. All my favorite weapons are 650 and masterwork. All my favorite armour are 650 with only my titan having fully masterwork upgrade. I just don't understand how players struggle with core management.

Ok done. We now have augmentation cores.

17 RepliesDo spiders bounties, you can get easy 8 cores a week x 3 if you have 3 characters !

3 RepliesEdited by Technohydra: 1/16/2019 6:16:20 PMI'm normally on team '-blam!- you, just play smarter to get more / need less'. But I'm sick today, and just don't have the wherewithall to put up with the baboon-like gibbering that comes from telling people they can solve their problems by changing their behavior patterns. So let's do this: Remove enhancement cores from infusion, sure. Allow me to consume 3-5 cores on an item to give it a 1-3 light boost, organically. Then increase the cost to masterwork to 30...but make masterworking much more meaningful. Like no more range / stability / handling / anti-wrinkle categories...make it a blanket 5% increase to -every- stat except impact / RoF (magazine may need some special treatment). I'd buy that for 30 cores. Hell, if you made it 10%, I'd spend 50 on that. Once again, problem solved, workable and realistic solutions proposed. Thank you, strep A, for making our gaming experience potentially a little better. Please note: the trollercoaster will be re-opening very soon, I'm just not feeling up to it today. So take this, do with it what you will. No need to thank me, I'm off to overdose on cold meds.
I'm coming off entirely backhanded and sarcastic: the truth is, I just generally feel like death today. Pay no mind to the coughing man behind the curtain.
3 RepliesI have to change my mind about cores anymore they are pretty easy to get I never drop below 100-120 I go and do spiders bountys 3 characters and grab 2 for legendary Mark's a day even if u 1 character that's 7-8 cores

71 RepliesBe selective on how you use them, bumping your weapon +1 is a waste of 3 cores.
