Maybe this whole quest is a metaphor for D2. It got everyone's attention upon discovery, when it came out was all anyone talked about, but ultimately lead to disappointment and nothing impressive.

The worst thing about this whole thing is the community. Even after bungie has said 2 times now that the quest is nothing but that ticket for some lore people still wont shut the hell up about it. Saying stuff like “its not over till the fat lady sings”. These people are just unable to to comprehend reason and even if it said in the game “quest complete” when getting the ticket for the lore they would still cry about how their is more and anyone telling them otherwise is lying apparently. Its just like that thing with the cloaked awoken and all these idiots started screaming about how this obvious male person is mora sov because the person is awoken with white hair and anyone telling them otherwise was an idiots apparently. Then it turned out that the cloaked awoken was prince uldren in a different outfit as you can buy the statue of that character and its name is prince uldren XD. These people are just a lost cause and this community is full of them.
