Bloodborne and Ps4 question
I'm hoping to get a Ps4 with Horizon Zero Dawn, Bloodborne, Tales of Berseria, and Nioh. I have just one question about Bloodborne and one about the Ps4 itself:
For Bloodborne, how realistic is the spider boss? I have arachniphobia and even looking at the crabs in Dark Souls 3 for too long scare me. Here is my arachniphobia scale for reference (anything 5 and below I will have trouble looking at; anything 6 and above scares me shitless)
1: Cute little cartoon spiders with only 2 eyes and 8 fuzzy legs
2-5: Semi realistic spider thingies with long legs and weird mouth ONLY. DS3 crabs and the Crimson King in The Dark Tower are examples of this.
7-9: Big rear end (characteristic of spiders) 8 legs fuzzy or not, 8 eyes, weird mouth (black widows, brown recluses, even normal house spiders. also scorpions)
10: -blam!-ing tarantulas, fuzzy legs, huge rear end, 8 eyes, and a mouth that is the scariest shit ever
As for the Ps4, the controller is called the dualshock controller? And all dualshocks are rechargeable and not battery operated?

12 RepliesRom, the Vacuous Spider looks more like a worm, so you shouldn’t need to worry there. However, there are two things you might want to be aware of. Romlets, and the spiders in the Nightmare of Mensis. I’ll give you a picture of each so you can judge. [url=https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/bloodborne/images/c/c2/Apostle.png/revision/latest?cb=20170616025407]Spiders[/url]. Very high on the scale, for sure. The Spiders only appear in one area outside of the optional Chalice Dungeons, but they’re found in a couple different sections throughout that area, and Rom and her Romlets only appear in a boss fight outside of Chalice Dungeons. As for the Dualshock 4? It’s charged via Micro USB. Make sure to always plug it into the PS4, not the wall outlet.

3 RepliesIf I'm remembering correctly there is no spider boss. There's a couple normal spiders, though they can just be run past. Yes all DS4 are rechargeable. Also consider getting NieR: Automata and Gravity Rush.

10 RepliesThe spider boss is like a slug as stated below which spawns a ton of mini spiders but overall it’s weak(atleast for myself) and the PS4 controller is wireless but you can leave it plugged in at all times and never have to charge it

7 RepliesAvoid BloodBorne if you don't like spiders. Rom isn't actually a spider in the way they actually look, but a lot of small spiders jump at you often in that boss. He's also a required boss to beat the game. There are also some chalice dungeons that have spders and the Rom fight again.
