Like This Post If You Are A D1 Veteran Now Playing D2
Hey, like this post if you are a D1 veteran now playing D2. I am; before the game came out I told myself that I would alternate between the two, but all I've played since September 5 is D2! I love this game, yes there are bugs, but overall its great. Plus, this is a really exciting week with Iron Banner, as well as the Inverted Spire Nightfall ( anything is better than Savathun's Song with anomalies!). Anyways, all you guardians out there who enjoy the game, cheers!

Listen everybody, I've been catching a lot of crap about this post; people calling me a bungie employee, autistic, and someone with no taste. None of that is even remotely true. I just like the game, and it's fun to make posts like this from time to time and communicate with other people who enjoy it. Now, if you are about to post something about how much you think D2 sucks ( as so many people already have ), please go somewhere else. This post is for people who like the game.

As a whole, the active players who are also active posters are pretty damned passionate and also pretty damned competitive. Honestly, you HAD to realize those who are totally against D2 were going to come in and attempt to trash the thread. Some of those who really enjoy D2 do the exact same thing in the threads that are for those who tried D2 and went back to D1. Personally, I can go either way on it. On the one hand, I have yet to fire D1 back up and have really enjoyed a large amount of D2. On the other hand... Plenty of issues with D2. I highly doubt I will return to D1 for the simple reason that, if/when I do tire of D2... I have PLENTY of other options for gaming. Like it, love it, hate it. Those opinions are going to be spread all over an open, public forum. Has to be expected.

I have been playing D1 some just for the solo Night Fall. Bungie could fix a lot of this stuff but to date they refuse to even reply about any of this stuff. First time I ever saw the manufacturer of a product completely ignore their customer base. Bungie you did not make the perfect game, admit it, fix it so we can all move on. As a matter of fact I have been blocked from creating new threads just because they don't want to deal with the issuses surrounding their new problem child. FIX IT!!!!!

Finally, a post with few negative comments! Over the past week, I tried to avoid the forums because it was getting too toxic and there were too many negativity from a lot of players. To the Guardian who took a risk and dedicated an appreciation post for the game, bless your soul! I do agree that Destiny 2 has problems, but I still play and enjoy it. The grind for Iron Banner gear is pretty fun surprisingly.

Exciting week? Let's see... - Iron Banner that has no level advantage, sub-par weapons, and a loot pool full of duplicates - A nightfall for duplicate drops; crucible for duplicate drops; flashpoints for duplicate drops. . . (see a pattern here?) - A raid that no one wants to complete anymore; those who do only want to cheese it - A pointless grind for higher power level weapons and armor, as the game has no reason or value to be over 280 So obviously not an 'exciting' week for me or many other 'D1 veterans'; however, I can see it being exciting for anyone that has just started the game, as I truly enjoyed the story and the first few weeks of milestone achievements.

played since D1 beta. This game was good for a week or 2 but completely missed the ball on any replay value what-so-ever. This game almost feels like the executives at Bungie got pissed off at the complaints from D1 and said 'OK you want token system? here you go. You want everyone to have exotics? here you go. You want less grind? here you go. Now leave me alone so I can sail my yacht in the Caymans while I spend all the money you idiots threw at your screens!!! Bwaa haa haa haa' yeah they gave things that were asked for in D1, but they did it in the most counter-productive way possible and sucked the fun out

I am happy with a lot in D2, but there is a lot to be unhappy about. IMO the Loss of weapon roles. terrible crucible lag, a still-broken trials, no game mode choice in PVP, no private matches, dumbed-down subclass perk setups, so many tokens, no strike loot, no strike scoring, and all the end-game PVE being pretty much done once you do the raid a few times (to name a few). It feels like there is not much to do but goof around in the crucible. But then again it was this way in D1 "vanilla" too. That's where we are right now guys - [b]D2 vanilla. [/b] So lets take some stuff with a grain of salt, but not get so salty.

However true D1 veterans like myself won't stand for this piece of garbage Bungie has handed us as we know they can do better and even vanilla D1 was a superior game.

I do not only believe that you a bungie employeee, but even go as far as saying that even that many likes are fake! Tried to downvote a second before and nothing happened. To me, i'm a D1 vet too, beta player to be precise. But believe that D2 so far is nothing, but a rip-off. I can't even call it a D1 remaster, as it lacks so much and misses so much stuff that was implemented in D1 that all in all it's way smaller than D1 ever was. Not to forget the reuses of skins, reskins of everything everywhere and a nerf hammer that slammed the last bit of fun out of this game for sake of a pvp, that to me is the biggest pvp crap i've ever seen in my entire life as gamer. As it's already very weird that nearly EVERYONE seems to get the same exotic chosen on the quest out of the first exo engram and even after getting spammed by dupilcates over and over again, to me, it seems Bungie aka the masters of manipulation (see their forum, trending posts and highest rated that seem to not show what it's promised lol) did not only manipulate RNG in favor to extend wimpy content by artificially increasing the grind, but do now also manipulate forums' posts to make people believe they are alone with their negative opinion about the game, when in reality it seems that for now the negative opinions have easily the upperhand! 797 likes (to date) in 14h for a guy with 39 days on forums for posting nothing, but a "oh yeah i love this game"? Who the -blam!- you think you fooling here. Tell DeeJ and Luke to gid gud.

Day 1 Destiny player and a day 1 Destiny 2 player, Stopped playing Destiny around 3 months after it launched and with the dire lack of stuff to do after hitting 305, i am about to stop playing D2. Maybe come back after the 2 expansions have released....... Seeing as i already payed for them

I've realised D2 is only fun on Tuesdays. It's the only day I feel I'm actually playing for something. They should change the game's name to Tuesdiny.

D1 Beta vet, been playing D2 since beta as well. Have to say I’m honestly very underwhelmed with this game. Yes, my characters are 300+, but that’s only from clan/powerful engrams. Haven’t had time to beat the raid nor go flawless. But right now, those are the only things I haven’t grinned 100 times since release. I wish there was more to do, more variety, for this $60 AAA game instead of waiting for Tuesday to grind out public events and crucible games.

If D2 had been the original then opinions on it would’ve been different. It would be new. It would be something never seen before. The lack of grind would seem like a grind However it’s not the original. People knew the general way to play it, the mechanics, the story, lore, guns because it was the second. This is why it won’t get the same kind of love D1 is currently getting
