Like This Post If You Are A D1 Veteran Now Playing D2
Hey, like this post if you are a D1 veteran now playing D2. I am; before the game came out I told myself that I would alternate between the two, but all I've played since September 5 is D2! I love this game, yes there are bugs, but overall its great. Plus, this is a really exciting week with Iron Banner, as well as the Inverted Spire Nightfall ( anything is better than Savathun's Song with anomalies!). Anyways, all you guardians out there who enjoy the game, cheers!

Listen everybody, I've been catching a lot of crap about this post; people calling me a bungie employee, autistic, and someone with no taste. None of that is even remotely true. I just like the game, and it's fun to make posts like this from time to time and communicate with other people who enjoy it. Now, if you are about to post something about how much you think D2 sucks ( as so many people already have ), please go somewhere else. This post is for people who like the game.

1 ReplyI really enjoyed playing D1 and am enjoying playing D2 even with its flaws.the one thing I really hate that the did was putting a timer on the nighfall,I refuse to do it. It took over 2.5yrs to get D1 to were it’s at.People just need to have patience.There are still dlc’s on their way so who knows?

10 RepliesI’m a day 1 Destiny player and Destiny 2 is trash. The only reason I and other players like me still play it is because it’s the only game of its kind at the moment. I’m really waiting for Anthem to take the throne.

Yeah I'm playing, least through banner, then looks like I can get all done on all 3 characters on Tuesday. Well worth my money.......... NOT. P.S. I'd like the people that disagree with things to stay outa my posts too, but juuuust doesn't seem to happen. It was fun, for a couple weeks, u know, like bungie thinking we were going to swallow this shiat, not happening. ✌️

Slow ttk, slow supers, slow grenades, stupid 2 primarys, stupid shoulder barge that hurts you more and they just finish you off with a slap... This game is a spot on the original destiny's ass. And that spot needs FOOKING popping

Maybe it isn't better, but almost as good. Hopefully as the expansions come out and Mercury gets added, more spaces, more raids, etc etc, it will stand up to what D1 has evolved to over 3 years. I love both of these games, but it's a shame that just liking them can spark hate. I'm fine with disagreeing with people and people disagreeing with me, because of course D2 needs some changes. [spoiler]the -blam!-ing shaders bungie, the -blam!-ing shaders[/spoiler] But so much hate just because one person likes a game is nüts.

The only real problem I have is the Raid. It requires so much coordination and teamwork that one weak player can ruin your attempt. I swear I could simply tell the weaker or newer players to "stand here and shoot the thing" and be fine. But this one has so little room for error and basically requires everyone to understand the mechanics. I can't tell you how many times I would be doing the Pleasure Garden only to find that after two damage steps with 36+ spores, one or two people still hadn't touched their dog. Or someone would die on a plate in the Baths. Or not say what symbol was on Calus's head. Or wouldn't shut up while we needed to hear what was being said. Or any number of other things. And I'm not even complaining about the seemingly low drop rate if ammo fighting Calus. That's something I can work with. But incompetent people who don't work with the team are a pain. And I feel the Raid needed a little room for error. Otherwise, I like D2. Warts and all.

As a whole, the active players who are also active posters are pretty damned passionate and also pretty damned competitive. Honestly, you HAD to realize those who are totally against D2 were going to come in and attempt to trash the thread. Some of those who really enjoy D2 do the exact same thing in the threads that are for those who tried D2 and went back to D1. Personally, I can go either way on it. On the one hand, I have yet to fire D1 back up and have really enjoyed a large amount of D2. On the other hand... Plenty of issues with D2. I highly doubt I will return to D1 for the simple reason that, if/when I do tire of D2... I have PLENTY of other options for gaming. Like it, love it, hate it. Those opinions are going to be spread all over an open, public forum. Has to be expected.
