After hot fix and system update still crashes
Hello.
Just letting you know that after the ps4 system update today my pspro still crashes Every time I go to the tower.
Ce-34878-0
Please fix this broken game Bungie and sony.

How is it that its going to be the third time ill be waiting for an update, hoping to fix the issue? Thats right, since this problem became known,, theres been two updates, and none of them are really improving the most important thing, keeping the game running, without people want to smash their controllers because nothing works. Ive had the game crash many times, also loading into the tower, sometimes the screen stays black, sometimes im endlessly stuck flying to one place, sometimes the tower is empty and none of the vendors are there nor the players, when im finally in the tower after multiple attempts, i just keep my fingers crossed not to get yet another crash, the blue error code screen... UMADBRO!?

This happens to me as well quite a lot. If i restart my playstation that seems to help but an unexceptable fix. "Yes we beat the raid! To the Tower!" *game crashes* "You guys have fun while i restart my playstation." "Hey crane want to run some cruciable?" "Sure but I'm still trying to get to the tower" *game crashes* Walks away

Lots of fly-to-tower crashes here, too (PS4pro, HDCP disabled, database rebuild). About 50% chance that it happens, very annoying. In addition, sometimes I have infinite flying to the social space and/or can't see anything in my menus and screens. Approaching other destinations (the planets) works without any problems at all. Strikes, patrol, crucible, raid... all OK, no crash at all.

Fix this issue you flying f Ucks. Jesus the mentors are no help and everyone just blames it on our routers/modems or internet quality. My shit is fine. Now get yours together and fix it!

2 RepliesI've had it on the regular PS4 also. I also would like someone to address the stalled fly in screen and black screens when going into the Tower. Why is this game having so much trouble with the social space?

I've been getting this error code every time I try to load into the tower. It starts out by my ship flying above Earth for well over 15 minutes. After that time I tried to view my character, inventory and clan information and nothing would display. I then tried to change my character and that resulted in the game locking up and displaying the error message CE-34848-0.

1 ReplyVery frustrating. CE-34878-0 error code has happened to me dozens of times. After PS4 5.0 update it is worse. It has happened on my second character every time I try to go to the tower if I select my second character first. If I log into my first character, log out, then log into my second character, I can get to the tower. Please fix this.

The more maintenance you do the more it is happening it didn't happen to me before the first maintenance and is getting worse and worse each time you do it

My best guess at a fix for the repeated Ce-34878-0 crash (I'm on a vanilla PS4) is to: * Log In to Destiny 2 * After arriving in orbit, Log Off of Destiny 2 (Settings -> Log Out -> Log Out of Destiny 2) * Log In again * Go to the Tower successfully Since the client is not able to log you out of Destiny 2 automatically when it crashes, the continued crashes may be due to the server believing you are already logged in, which causes it to freak out (technical term). This doesn't explain why it only happens in the social spaces, but this fix has worked for me twice thus far.

This happens every time I go to the tower...for some reason, the third time it works...but that's twice getting a blue screen, shutting down, restarting, choosing character, selecting tower, loading graphic... Thanks Bungie...the new game is great!

My problems started with the last update. My PS4 (not pro) continues to crash with the same error code on occasion, but the main issue is with getting to the tower. it's a 50/50 chance I'll get to it without the ship just being stuck in space, or the screen just going black. neither not touching the menu or reducing the amount of items in the vault has helped. It is getting beyond frustrating. I was hoping that it would be fixed with this update, but Bungie have not even mentioned it.
