They shouldn't be there five minutes into the game seeing as they already had a $100 dollars from us.

When someone complains about optional items in the game because they have to have it now is not an issue with bungie or anyone else except for those that are so addicted with being the first to have everything. Everything that is available to purchase in the game is in the game. Any other issues, one must look within themselves and their mental state.

12 RepliesThe only problem I have with microtransactions is when they replace content like Festival of the Lost did with the expansion that was supposed to follow TTK. For those unaware Bungie's original plan involved another full expansion. Taken King was "Comet 1", and they replaced "Comet 2" with Festival of the Lost because it made them the same money without having to release major content. Other then that, I could care less what "optional" content they throw in for purchase.

If you are using food stamps you shouldn’t be buying every micro transaction and video game that comes out. You should be using your time trying to get ahead of your situation and not playing video games.

The unfortunate reality is that all games that come out have some sort of micro-transaction related content. Whether is be cosmetics, weapons, shaders, whatever. Some people are willing to pay extra to get a chance to get something that looks cool or will possibly even give them an edge over others. It's ridiculous how much money makes on cod supply packs alone. As a company you would be stupid not to include some sort of micro transactions in your game. I don't personally like the whole scheme, but micro transactions are here to stay whether we like it or not.
