This is not a negative feedback at all.
The reason I am quitting Destiny is because I am bored of it. I have completed everything that I needed to do such as trophies, getting to 400 with all my 3 characters, got all exotic weapons and armor, completed all the challenges of the raids, getting almost all emblems and shaders, etc.
The only one thing I haven't achieve was getting flawless in Trials of Osiris. I am not a good pvp player like you guys and I am cool with it. Trials is not for people like myself.
The game was not bad. I enjoyed the story and the DLC too. (WHY DIDN'T OUR CHARACTERS TALKED AFTER WE KILLED THE BLACK HEART???!!!!) But after completing everything, what else is there to do?
I had fun doing those special events like Festival of the Lost, SRL and Iron Banner. Not quite fond of Crimson Day though...... lol oh well.
I did had times that things didn't go the way we wanted like glitches, buffing/nerfing weapons, lagg, getting etc but you know what? It's no big deal because it is just a game. Yes it is frustrating but, meh.
Another reason I enjoyed Destiny was because I was making some new friends and having fun together.
Anyways, it's been fun playing this game and meeting some of you fellow Guardians that I may bumped into either in PVP or PVE. I might return but until then, keep your light shine.
Take care everyone.

1 ReplyEdited by twisted504boy: 1/28/2017 4:22:56 PMI didn't quit but I don't blame anyone who does quit because the very long content droughts in this game are kind of inexcusable. Maybe having more than one raid active that would actually still give us useful gear would help this problem. I just know that as a destiny fan I need to make sure that I have other games to play in my library because about two months after a new content release comes out I will have done everything there is to do and it will get boring. Trying to use pvp to carry this game after the pve content dries up is what bungie relies on but the pvp isn't good enough to carry the game and the market is filled with pvp shooters that are better than destiny.

I pissed my money away on a PlayStation, i do like the dregs on the pikes on the Cosmodrome. I thought they were guardians at first, point is time to gonna see what the sony players got now :)

The reason I am quitting Destiny is because I am bored of it.
This is a nice alternative to the narrative of 80% of players who quit in frustration in the first few months of year 1 because they couldn't figure out how to get past level 20 or were stuck at #forever29. Destiny has come a long way in the past 2.25 years.

I hear you. I've done everything there is in the game to do on both xb1 and PS4. Collected all exotics, done all raids with challenges on both systems, and been to the light-shack on both. "You're not missing much TBH". Sorry to hear you never had a chance to go. However, like most said enjoy other games. I've personally went back to GTA and it's a blast. Don't get me wrong I do hope on destiny here and there but just to do some strikes and get off. At this point I'm just waiting for D2..

1 ReplyEdited by Altoryu: 1/27/2017 10:27:42 AMTake the time to get out and play something else, depending on your preferences both KH 2.8 and RE7 came out recently so there is that. Or always a bunch of other games out there to try out, I'm doing the same myself though I haven't finished everything myself simply cause I don't have the patience to deal with the game's bs anymore concerning certain exotic quests among other things.

1 ReplyDestiny is a good game. But like you, I did everything, all 3 characters to 400 and ran out of vault space. I will not delete my good weapons. Lighthouse? Meh....fcuk sweat tards. It's too much work.
-
1 ReplyAs others said, take time to play other games. No reason you can't return when there's new content available.

5 RepliesEdited by blade329: 1/26/2017 10:35:55 PMGlad you enjoyed the game, but name me one good game that goes on forever with unlimited content? Skyrim, maybe, but even there you will run out of content eventually. I'll probably feel similar when I get all my characters to 400. Like you, I really don't care about the Lighthouse. Too much hassle to try and get there.

1 ReplyI'm in the same boat - just nothing more to do but I've played the game WAY too much and definitely had my money's worth. Nice to have a little break in my opinion.

3 RepliesNice post ..... you take care too. Perhaps we'll see you back for D2 later this year :)

It's been 2 plus years, I usually quit games after a month or two... so I think Bungie understands. Gear up and take a destiny break before the second one comes out it'll be good for us all to do that!

3 RepliesYou will be back after you get bored of your current game it happens to everyone.

3 RepliesDestiny is frustratingly mishandled No need to sugar coat what you didn't really enjoy I like the game too, just admit what you actually hated and admit what was good Ex: pvp and the balance team are a joke, but the art team and music team knock it out of the park every time

2 RepliesThere isn't a word to describe the incompetence of the sandbox and crucible team in general. The biggest shit fest I've ever seen. I'm just staying on these forums to find out if pvp and pve will be separated in destiny 2, and to let everyone know just how dense a person has to be to think this "meta" is even remotely okay. Lmaooo

1 ReplyYeah I feel yeah, I haven't gone to the light house either, not a fan of Pvp really. So I dont mind. Still haven't beaten Aksis phase 2 on heroic just because all my friends quit playing Destiny. Lfg is just a headache to deal with. Started playing gta 5 and been having a fun time with that. Hoping more destiny content comes out soon.

1 ReplyI quit Destiny on decisively poor terms. I wasn't willing to pay $30.00 for more of the same offered during TTK. Raids and endgame content just weren't rewarding enough to play, and strikes aren't meat and potatoes for PVE focused players. So it was either play more PVP, which, like strikes, is good in small doses IMO, or play strikes till I'm blue in the face. Ultimately, I decided to just hold out and see if the price drops to reflect the ACTUAL value I will get if I buy the content. I won't pay more than $10.00 for RoI, regardless of whether they bring back the old raids. Luke Smith said that the players recognize value when we see it. Which is true. We also recognize when something lacks value too. Minimal content with no replay value? Not worth $30, that's for damned sure. Many people got SKYRIM for that amount, and Recore for just $10.00 more.

6 RepliesSadly I am hooked on pvp. If it wasn't for gunslinger, I would not be playing this game as much as I do.

The game was not bad. I enjoyed the story and the DLC too. (WHY DIDN'T OUR CHARACTERS TALKED AFTER WE KILLED THE BLACK HEART???!!!!) But after completing everything, what else is there to do?
I amuse myself by imagining that its like The Little Mermaid... The Black Heart stole our voice and we chose to forsake our voice to destroy it. Right now...somewhere in the cold dark between stars...the darkness is singing "Kiss the Salt", "A whole new DLC", & "Decrypt the Sea (of engrams)".
(WHY DIDN'T OUR CHARACTERS TALKED AFTER WE KILLED THE BLACK HEART???!!!!)
I complained myself earlier about this decision. Activision has enough Money to pay some voice actors. I hate that, this Silence... It would be ok if our Guardians would say something while the Combat like in Halo 5 Warzone. That would help a Little bit.

Yup haven't touched it since I got new ice breaker. Was the last thing I had to do. Have done everything else and gotten everything multiple times. I feel my life is better having taken a break from this boring grind. Lol.

1 ReplyBump just for not being a whiny bitch about ToO, and accepting the realization that flawless is not for everyone.
