Good job on the weapons tuning
Well, here I was looking forward to "The Dawning of Primaries" because I thought they'd get a little better. Hint hint, Bungie. The community has been asking for better primaries to promote a less stale, secondary-filled META. And the only "good" primaries available are the only good primaries period: The Clever Dragon being the one sported the most by crucible players everywhere.
My proposal is to say that not just 1 primary should completely dominate the crucible. I feel like other exotics, like Hawkmoon (Why'd you nerf it so badly) and The Last Word are perfect examples. And not just those 2 guns, why not every gun? Make every archetype a little stronger other than the ones that predominately determine the outcome of every gunfight (hint again on the clever dragon.) Promote uses of other weapons like auto rifles because we never see them anymore. Make players use more than just Clever Dragon, and please stop the Matador primary players. If every weapon were in their prime, we wouldn't have to worry about the 1 juggernaut-titan who gets 200 ammo per crate, or the mile-long melee shotty-caller that wins every single shotgun duel. Better primaries = better crucible.

Play the way you want with the guns you want. It's actually more fun than playing with the guns you are forced to use. Course you have to leave your ego outside because you won't always win.

If you look in your thread you will see a reply with destiny tracker stat for primary usages. You will see the clever dragon get most used after that iron banner, then you will see it go back down to normal. Prior to that iron banner is wasn't most used either, so all in all as I stated before, right now is the most diverse destiny have been. Your 43% secondary kills cannot make you form an opinion about a primary weapon

7 RepliesBungie has stated that they do not want to over buff weapons because then things will get too hectic and turn into the ttk of cod. I was a proponent of buffing everything to when it was op, but then bungie came out and said that and made a lot of sense. The real problem with pvp I've come to realize is that destiny's maps are god awful. I came back to destiny after playing a bunch of halo 5 and it makes sense why secondaries are so powerful. The maps are either set up in a way that create too many choke points that allow easy sniping or they are close quarters as hell which leads to shotgunning. Think about the newest maps that came out in ROI. What do they all have in common? They are all small and have tight corridors no wonder, people think shotguns are op.

I got rekt more than once by hard light in ib. There are a lot of people still using autos you just haven't been killed by them. Stop being so good and get killed by an auto you'll see.

Been using hawk moon lately and it's OK at mid range.... And shotguns do need a nerf ( sorry not sorry) was playing elm last night and the enemy team was just shotgun warriors, they were really good at it put it's so annoying to fight on the small Maps that destiny has ( the primarys they had equiped clever dragon) I don't understand why shotguns have been so poorly balanced, you have the mapadors that can snipe you and then you have shotguns like stolen will that have no impact and a very poor base range.

Just let the YouTube streaming tryhard sweaty scrubs decide. That seems to be the consensus here. They die by something so that gets nerfed. They can't kill with something so that gets buffed. Pretty typical.

3 RepliesPeople cry about lack of primaries in pvp. Decide to let everyone access a very good primary to increase usage of primaries. People start to cry about lack of primary diversity. Come on people, have some patience. Bungie is aware of the primary issue and gave a short term fix while deciding on a long term fix in the meantime.

I love how when thorn ruled the crucible you'd be publiky executed for speaking out against it. But now that theres actual variety, you get attacked for saying it's far better than it used to be. Can this community make up its freaking mind
