It isn't fair for ps3 user to buy a ps4 to keep on destiny.
I hope this reaches bungie staff in general, for me or ps3 users who can't afford to buy a ps4 so that i can keep playing destiny, because that means that i would have to buy the console + the game + the dlc it would cost a whole lot of money, i feel very dissapointed and sad because it means that my money spended on the ps3 version wasn't enough, so please bungie if you could revise your project once more it would be very apretiated

5 RepliesTrade in your old stuff for an upgrade think of it as an investment. Let's face it in the next year or so they will stop making games for it all together. Just look for a good deal. I bought my xbox one not even a month ok for $125 with destiny. I might have got lucky.

A lot of people have already upgraded so they can play better games besides Destiny ( yes other gaming companies have gone this track already). For those who are still playing on old consoles: yes it does stink, but just because there are the few stuck in the past doesn't mean everyone should be. For example: I still use VHS tapes for old time sake and if I don't have the film in DVD/Blu Ray. Do other ppl use VHS players? Yes. Do they still make films on that platform? No. Why? Because we have progressed as a society. If you can't afford a ps4/xb1 at this time, it isn't going to kill you to save a few bucks here and there or get a second job. You can even wait until Christmas/your birthday and use that money. It isn't going to kill you to not get new expansion a few months after it is released. Right now, the new consoles are having so many great gaming bundles at reasonable prices. It will get even better during the Christmas season.

Shoulda left out the isn't fair. Coulda said "Hey could you guys reconsider for those of us loyal players that just can't fit the upgrade into our budget." Woulda got a lot more respect if you didn't sound entitled. Which is odd coming from someone who doesn't have the money for a ps4.

Unfortunately they can't, the PlayStation 3 is a 10-year-old system. It's hardware is outdated and can't play new content. You can't make cutting edge games on old obsolete systems, yeah, it sucks, but that's how it works. They aren't going to make new games for the PS, PS1 or PS2 either. It just how the world works. Progress needs to keep moving forward or there is no progress.

As much as I feel bad for the people that own old-gen consoles, you have to also put it in perspective of current-gen console players, because we couldve been missing out on a great game, but due to the limits set by last-gen consoles nobody will ever know what Destiny couldve been.

There is a reason developers don't make games for the ps2 and there is a reason why games are not being made for the PS3. It's outdated dude, just upgrade and stop complaining.

2 RepliesAs a fellow last gen player and around since beta, let me give you some advice; don't come here asking for anything but hate. Destiny has had so many disappointments for so many for so long, they'll grasp at any hope that will "fix" it for them. Leaving last gen is their last hope, and they will selfishly, savagely brutalize anyone threatening that hope. Besides, this decision was probably made around the time TTK released, they couldn't reverse it now if they wanted to.
