If you think shoulder charge is op, go play a different game.
Striker is the only class with a 1hk ability, BUT
-Nightstalkers are the only ones with an evade that cancels tracking
-Sunsingers are the only ones who can self resurrect
-Defenders are the only ones with a grenade that cancels abilities
-Bladedancers are the only ones with built-in quickdraw
I could go on, but you get the point.
Every class is unique. [u]That's why we have so many subclasses.[/u]
If you die from a shoulder charge, you got outplayed.
Adapt to it, or go play as a Striker.

Our favorite weapons and subclasses and exotics get nerfed because scrubs can't handle getting killed by it. So I totally agree with you on this one, and your post here is a great example of that.

1 ReplyYou bring up good points.. But i bet you still get pissed and all logic goes out the window when you get SC like 12 times in the same match by the same 2 Titans 😃 Also, upon activation of radiance, your first melee charge is an insta kill.

8 RepliesI don't think the sunsingers one really counts... Warlocks really lack a unique perks. Hunters have, evade and invisible, Titans have shield, shoulder charger, but what does warlocks, it used to be two grenades but that's not unique to them anymore.... But I do understand you point

Yes warlocks are nerfed to hell in crucible with their classes being subpar and useful once every trip to the lighthouse because they have something like every other character and it gets nerfed to be weaker then the others when the warlocks should be the main ones with magic and blink and everything else that makes them unique but in crucible and raids they are overshadowed and are just for taking the occasional hit from the shade

We better nerd QuickDraw because it's dropping people around the map. Blade dancer is based around passive abilities. While shoulder charge is not by any means op, I do believe it could use a little tweaking. The fact is is that shoulder charge is great for killing someone from around the corner and at close range. The problem is that a lot of destiny so maps are close range. It would be nice if the auto-aim of shoulder charge was reduced and so that way it wasn't so quick to use. I would say spam able but that doesn't seem like the proper word to use here. The main problem I had with this post is that you make a lot of comparison to things that may seem op but in fact are not accurate comparisons. You do t see quick draw or suppressor grenades one-hitting people. The main problem I believe people have with shoulder charge is that it is a one hit melee but while every class has a one hit melee, shoulder charge doesn't have a cooldown and it isn't as bugged as backstab.
