There's a chance that we misunderstood the nerf to the Meta-Multitool.
Andy Sandberg...(correction) Jon Weisnewski said on air and in the notes that High Caliber rounds were removed as the intrinsic perk for Mida. This may mean that instead of the unleveled exotic coming with it, it may share a tree with other perks that'll force us to, for example, choose it's range over high caliber. Just a thought.

3 RepliesEdited by Orbital Drop Shock Trooper: 4/9/2016 4:38:15 PMAs much as anyone says otherwise. We can't actually judge it until we play with it for ourselves. For example, I remember the whole TTK update fiasco detailing a hardlight buff. The community was hardcore ready for it in the wake of TTK thinking it would be the new OP weapon. I knew a few guys who couldn't shut up about it acting all smug like they knew better than everyone else because they read some patch notes. When the update dropped, games were riddled with Hardlight for about a week due to the mass hype and then the bubble finally burst when people started realising it wasn't the weapon people were expecting based on the image they drew from the patch note. It was kept alive purely through hearsay and people's fragile ego who failed to identify that it didn't live up to their marketing crap they spewed. [But besides that, the novelty does exist in that its still a pretty cool gun to shoot] Just wait. Speculation right now might as well be all BS right now for everything until we get a actual hands on in gameplay.

First activity I will be doing to see how the multi tool performs will be the old version of winters run. Basically wanna see how much the Archon priests head will bobble from head shots coming from the MIDA. Eeeither way the MIDA won't be the same.

3 RepliesWould it have an native perk or would it just become a scout rifle in the primary that just so happens to be exotic, no known reason
