What would you think if you saw someone in trials with...
...Full trials gear, 319, a sunsinger, and all good trials weapons, as well as the flawless emblem, ghost, relic, and bond.
Not trying to boast (i actually just explained myself), i just...don't know what people think when they inspect their enemy and find this waiting for them.

I'm going to lose no matter who I play so I really don't pay much attention. Beating 3 self rez, flawless emblem bastards was one of my finer trials moments though. Good stuff.

For me I see the crutch jest people wear trials armor, be a warlock, maybe light beyond nemesis, last word or thorn, 1K Stare, and Quill machine gun. Literally seen this 3 times.

Idc about equipment really, cause the change is pretty miniscule. If you want to look threatening. You need a nice name and emblem. People are guaranteed to check you. "Darkdragon94 with a flawless emblem" not threatening at all. "Kaemora with an unimagined plane or reflective proof(scarab works too.)" is this guy a streamer? Any 6 or 7 letter name really.

I say "319 self res with ([u]insert weapon here[/u]) and ([u]insert exotic Amor here[/u]) with bbq nades." Then I inspect your teammates. I literally don't notice anything like your ghost or bond. If anything, I just automatically assume anyone wearing the flawless emblem is 14 and wants to scare people because they suck.

1 ReplyThose aren't usually the good players. I can't remember the last time I've lost to a scarab or flawless emblem. The ones with random emblems I've never seen are the guys I look up and find 2300 elo plus waiting for me.

I see a couple of comments along this line, but I usually look for what type of gear load out they are running to determine how challenging a team is going to be. I don't put to much stock in adept guns or scarabs, but rather the combination they are running.

What I have found is MOST people at 318+ in trials suck. Why? They play the raid a lot to get that high so they are a PVE player more than pvp. I almost never raid and can be 314-316. Most good destiny pvp players are above 310 because light doesn't make much of a difference after that point in trials. The best team we played this past weekend used NLB and sidearms the whole game and they had 2000+ Elos and 2.0+ kd.

1 ReplyI have all that stuff too. And my trials kd is under 1.0. Gear means nothing. I wouldn't flinch one bit if I saw you. I've completely shitted on full teams of scarabs. Only way to judge if someone is good is to play them. Not even kd tells the whole story. I bet most teams look me up on trials report and think they got an easy win (my teammates aren't much better than me) then get destroyed. Teamwork+communication > perfect loadouts and good kd.

1 ReplyI don't check my opponents anymore or even their weapons. Recently I've started to improve in Trials as i stay away from sniper lanes and don't rush around as much. Still far from good but i don't fear anyone in pvp.

I'd give up try along with most who have yet to go 9-0. And this is normally my second or first match

Me personally I'm no good at pvp only go in for the trials bountys so I wouldn't even inspect I just go in get destroyed try catch kills along the way and relax lol but I rate people that have gone flawless as I could only imagine the close games you get at a team both on 7 or 8 wins each

Level means nothing unless someone is far below 300. If you have all trials gear, I would just assume that the perks and stat rolls work for you. If you're talking about the actual weapons from trials, most aren't worth using. If you have the ghost, bond, and relic, I would assume that they work for you stat build. If you were running the emblem, I would assume you think it is an accomplishment to achieve it, and to some it is. Seeing a sunsinger, I would check your class build and find you aren't using firebolts, but your melee will kill me with burn. Knowing this, I would play the match like any other. If someone created this and assumed they are bragging by the description he/she provided, I would assume I'll win. Fairly easily.

1 ReplyNone of that means anything unless you are below average. Emblems, nothing. However looking up someone on destiny trials report and seeing 2400 ELO with a 96% win percentage with a 2.8 K/D, now that's something to be afraid of. Lmao trust me I know what I'm talking about.
