No Special? Seriously Bungie??
Removing special ammo from the start of games has to be the most stupid idea I've heard to date. Not once did I hear a single complaint about special ammo since HoW, so why did they feel the need to spend time and resources on something like this? How about a new game mode? An expansion? Or even continue tweaking connections and matchmaking. Unbelievable that they think making changes like this will keep a player base interested.
EDIT: I all you M9s were not oblivious to sniper lanes and had the intelligence to slide round corners or not challenge instead of running round randomly, maybe there wouldn't be so many people nerfs??...

Not once? Seriously, you've never heard people complain about the abundance of special ammo? This isn't the the third time they've tried to nerf it? Start paying attention, OP...this has been coming for quite awhile. Maybe next time, all the sheep won't use the same weapons, knowing Bungie will use the data to justify a nerf? Nahhhh....Nothing will change.

He's one of the best snipers in the game, and could use it like a primary if he wants to. Even he thinks that starting with so much special ammo is kind of ridiculous On a completely different note, your clan is amazing

Special ammo is the biggest problem in pvp. People are using snipers as primaries which isn't how it should be. I think the time between ammo crates should increase as well

2 RepliesPeople barely used their primary weapons unless they BLlNTed people. That's on of the main reasons why. Also, you get too much special ammo from the crates.

3 RepliesReally.. Y1 ToO was nothing but 80% - 90% shotguns this year it's snipers. Back track on the forums on this ull see ppl talking about and ppl crying over it. And they did say they want ppl to use there main weapons more then just using special weapons. Get over it.

I'm going to assume this isn't bait. LEARN TO USE A PRIMARY! And if you can't live without a sniper or shotgun go for invective ice breaker universal remote or NLB. This goes to all you winers, ADAPT many of us have.

They are idiots. They're catering to the 20% of squeakers, that nerf every single thing that kills them.. Hence why they "removed" special ammo, because that's the only thing Bungie knew to do. Every other week it rotates between snipers, or shotguns being "too OP". So now they said fk it well just get rid of special at the start. Idc ill just run NLB, invective, or ice breaker( might even whip out "universal remote") i cant wait to see what "absolutely has to be nerfed" after stormcallers. I even joke with my friends when I'm getting a trials team. I ask, so who wants to play shotty/snipes? It's a good move that will make people actually use their primary weapons for a change. It will also make special weapons, well, special. It will be a fight for ammo drops and make the mode in general more tactical.
