The 1,000 Yard solution
Reason I say this is that some people as you will see like to use a sniper the entire game. These weapons are called SPECIAL for a reason. They're not called primary's for the same reason.

How about scope glare is paired with a targeting laser? Then you would always know where the hardscopers are looking...

Easy just reduce how much sniper ammo you get per pick up.

Second option's how it works at the moment, unless you have ammo increasing boots or chests. I think I'm right; I've been using 1k yrd stare a lot recently (but I can't be sure).

I've used all specials in y1 as a primary at some point. 1kYD is common for a simple reason. They give it to you for going through the quest lines. If you play the game, then you will be given one. It's a good introductory sniper for anyone who is new to game. Getting a headshot on something and making it explode is a satisfactory experience. Player grow accustomed to said sniper and then find a perk roll that suits them. Also anyone who thinks aim assist is auto aim is just foolish.

13 Replies1000yard is worse than felwinters ever was at its peak. People are now just camping back hard scoping, so you just get sniped everywhere you move. This has sucked all the fun out of the crucible. Special weapons need to have a separate game mode, and normal crucible should be primaries only.

7 RepliesREAL PROBLEM: Bad players can't react fast, blame snipers even though there were superior options b4 2.0 hit... 1K just happens to be the best and only good option a available right now. Every1 can get it, can u aim faster and be accurate like the experienced snipers? ^Thats the real question. You'll still be garbage even if they took out the 1K with slow reactions and mediocre accuracy

1 ReplyWith a sniper rifle, you spawn with a full mag +2 shots. I think that is a good amount of special ammo to start with.

2 RepliesGet good at crucible, aim assist doesn't do anything but effect stickiness of reticle. Snipers do not have bullet magnetism, [b][i][u]I repeat snipers do not have bullet magnetism[/u][/i][/b] Just learn to evade and avoid sniper corridors.
